Steelers sign Myles Jack to play with the big boyz.

Great signing. Immediately becomes our best ILB since Farrior in his prime !!
 
With the talent on this defense and the coaching staff, you hope Jack will regain his top form and be an impact player in the middle of this defense. Very smart signing by the front office. I don't know if these moves will pay off, but the effort is very good so far.
 
This is fantastic! I almost fell backwards out of my chair when i came here and saw this thread. I sooo badly wanted Pittsburgh to draft Jack a few years back, Jaguars had me all like Florida Evans when they took him

So happy to have him aboard, I think he's going to be the best LB free agent acquisition this team has made since Potsie!

Oh and I called it yesterday saying they'd cut Shobert and more than likely Banner as I anticipated this move.

I hardly ever get these moves right but when I do, the STEELERS come through........Great American Hero.. (sing along)

PS................ I think this is a great move to shore up that ILB position needed. Add in the off-season both mental and physical improveent of BUSH and this could get real good.

Now we need DAVIS at 1.20 to help keep these guys clean.

Heyward Tuitt, Alula, Adams ,Wormley,Loudermilk. ........... davis, mondeaux If the first 6 come back and 5 of them stay healthy we are good. add in a rookie in the 1st or 2nd round. we are set.
add a CB in free agency and we are back on defense
 
I hope Tuitt and Alualu work out, they're gonna need them. When Alualu went down, the run defense looked like night and day to me.

I think Potsie was 27 when he came to the Steelers. Hope this is Potsie 2.0.
 
^ Yeah I liked that clip as it shows what a good dude he is as well. He got trucked but that was a big man with a full head of steam going right towards him.

I do hope he goes full Danny Batemen (linebacker from The Replacements) on that Bush guy who's gonna be next to him if he continues dogging it though.

The Steelers actually only paid Schobert less than $4 million last year, thanks to the Jags eating quite a bit of bonus money. But cutting him saves them nearly $7.952 in cap space now.
