Cracks me up that a vast majority are so damn horny to trade George

We spent all last year with 1 offensive threat…and it was absolutely crippling

Khan whiffs multiple times trying to plug the hole

Khan finally gets a 2nd guy and everyone that was crying about needing a WR2 last year is hoping to jettison one of the receivers now that they are finally to 2

The **** just makes zero sense

His first reaction isn’t going to be “well ****, let me
See how I can create a gigantic roster hole that I’ve been struggling to fill for a whole damn year”

Unless the strategy is to have Skyler as QB1 and to absolutely tank, then sure get rid of GP…aside from that it ain’t happening. And I know
Some here would support that move if it meant a gateway to Shades departure

If they sign Erin Raggers it’s definitely a sign that they are really panicking trying to manufacture some playoff success

If Skyler is QB1, maybe there’s a chance for the trade

If they extend GP, like I think they want to, imagine all the heads exploding on this board. It would be like Tomlin signed another extension...

Because history is on the side of a rookie WR playing a significant, ie starting role, for Mike Tomlin. Not to mention, you don't know if that rookie WR will actually pan out in thy nfl.

I'll keep GP AND my first round pick to use it on a hole that currently exists, not one I'm going to create.

Unless they use the tag, George isn't going to be here past this season. I'd rather try to secure a long-term option to pair with DK than ride it out with Pickens for at best a .500 season.

I think an extension for him would be interesting indeed.

If they grab A A Ron I think he eats up too much cap and they see what happens playing out his final contract year this season with GP…possibly resulting in the tag next year if he blows it up or the comp pick with his departure if he doesn’t. The tag would just be to buy time for an extension.

If they get a cheaper QB or draft a rookie as QB1 an extension may be on the table this year.

Should be interesting to see how it plays out
