When will you morons get it. The refs aren't perfect. We've had plenty of terrible calls go against us over the years, and we'll even complain about them from time to time. But you have to be an idiot not to recognize that there is no concerted effort by the refs to make one team win. If they really were instructed to allow the Steelers to win this game, they would have never called that very iffy holding on Bryant's TD. Why would they do that? Nobody would have faulted them for not calling that. No one would have noticed. Yet they call it, take 6 off the board and let it come down to a couple of minutes for the Steelers to drive and kick a field goal? Seems a bit risky if their mission was to give the Steelers the game, no?

no not every call, but everytime ben throws a deep ball inc, here comes a flag for next to no contact? ben gets touched by geno, roughing the passer? pit players get touched on 2 separate big yard plays for cin off (1 td) here comes a phantom flag? theres your difference right there, thats 20 pts gifted to pit from the refs, cin mayve gotten 4 if youre thinkin the hold on the KO ret td was a bad call (pit fg instead of td), other than that pit got everything from the time cin made it 17-0 until the game was over

just cant admit pit get most preferential officiating in the league every week huh? they should maybe be 6-6 if not 5-7, refs have given them half of their wins (2 vs cin) and will keep doing it except vs ne because thats ultimately who the nfl wants in the super bowl, tom brady, until he retires

Nope, steelers got helped by 160 yds in penalties against cincy, close to 100 yds of which were not penalties at all and all led to help for pit on the scoreboard either with free pit pts (at least 13 if not 16-20) or cin pts being taken away (at least 10) , THAT was the difference, again, thanks refs, pit can complain about 1 call maybe, bengals 10+

Perhaps your players shouldn't cheat? They'd get much less penalties called...

Seriously though, refs aside, you team was in control of this football game. The first half wasn't close. Bengals were firing off the line on O and D. The O line was throwing around our defenders. The D was always in the backfield. Then after the half, nothing. It was like a different team came on the field.

I know the Steelers made some adjustments, but none that should have made your O and D lines look that inept after being so dominant in the first half. There was no pass rush in the 4th, when they knew we were passing. There was no effective run blocking or pass blocking, and Daulton got flustered.

Seriously, there is no way the Bengals should have had only 3 points in the second half the way they executed the first half. What happened to your offense in the second half? That wasn't the refs...

gruden was slobbering on cincy all night....on the second one gruden was saying he didn't see anything and then the view shifted and it showed the DB holding Bryant's arm back so he couldn't move it toward catching the ball, then gruden just sorted mumbled more BS about in slow mo everything looks like a penalty...the first one was definitely a PI..the DB trailing Brown clearly made significant contact while the ball was in the air...if his right arm had not be pulled back he would have had that TD......
