Just saw a frustrated Adam Thielen after being wide open and Young completely missed it. Maybe he’d be a cheap stop gap possession receiver. Conditional 7th round pick or something like that

Yup. And after this game many will want Fields to continue to start. I saw great throws from him under no pressure and the flip side bad throws under no pressure. The thing is how good is this offense not including the QB position? In other words is it a wash and when you bring in Russ Wilson yeah he can make 4 or 5 more passing plays a game than Fields, but he can't give you as much with his legs? We are going to find out in the near future I guess.

my god....why are we seeing so many plays from Fields behind Center this game? It's not his comfort zone for Fields. Get him out in space and let him make a play!

Our offense since they fired Haley and since Ben retired has just sucked. We keep hiring “reaches” at OC. We are one of the great franchises and coaches would die to come here and coach!!! Smith just flat suks!!! For anyone to think a 5-7 receiver can be a #2 receiver in NFL is brain dead. He just gets mauled doesn’t matter where he can’t get off the line, he cant get jump balls, he can’t get contested balls. Two great tes one 6-7 that for most part of the game aren’t asked to do anything… and they are throwing to mister 5-7!!! terrible!!! Two good physical runners that just get hammered on the line. Well then run the qb outside the defense can’t be in both places at the same time!!! That second half was about as ugly as ugly can get and as Steeler fans WE KNOW UGLY FOOTBALL!!

Second half we played the clock game.....I personally think we need to move on from this. We will probably win hopefully here...but at what cost of turtling herw in the second half?

Fichtner and Canada weren't qualified, Smith is. All three looked pretty similar with different QBs and there is only one constant over the years....
