Steelers VS Dolphins game thread

FG with :07 on clock or pretty much the time the steelers gave them by running a play before the 2 minute

Not at all, you should check my drinking games for tonight. Basically we drink every time that Canada calls one of his stupid predictable plays, you know one or two of those whole 10 calls in his napkin sized playbook.

if we let the clock goto 2 min...we run the next play...take it down to 1:30 or so then the pickens td...am i missing something?
 
Down by 6, from reading this thread I'd think we were down by 5,342,012 points

We are still in shot of the win. Our 1/2 time adjustments will take charge and next thing you know we are with-in 3 with 38 seconds we have the ball on the miami 28......................................

They snappwd the ball at 2:02 and I am sure the play ran under the 2:00 mark. Miami ran 2 plays which gained only 2 yards at the end there which ate up 10 seconds. I am sure they simply would have kicked the FG sooner.

They could have waited to snap the ball is the point. Then run the running play which they could have taken the clock to 1:20ish instead of 1:56.
 
If we would have ran the ball the next play. Sure. They would have called a TO if we did. The rest of the play sequence might have gone differently.
 
the clock management did indeed suck but other than that not bad so far

Yeah...I thought the same. But with the way their offense struggles, maybe you catch Miami a little offguard there.
 
Second half let’s let it rip on offense and not play pop gun.
Work the middle, go with some slants, get Pickens and Muth more involved. Use Najee on pass plays out of the bf, throw some deep balls.
