Steelers VS Indy game thread.

I am thankful Coach Tomlin didn't do this...
Justin would of needed to buy more broadband!

Is that still a thingy?

I’m torn between wanting wins or losses this year only because I know the season is lost so why not want the better draft position.
I hate losing and can’t believe I’m even thinking this way but I am.
This team needs lots of help and we need as many premium picks as we can get to fix this team.
I want to see Kenny keep taking steps forward so we can build on his progress and add pieces to help him next season.
Hopefully Omar and Andy can keep Shades limited with the draft picks.I’m looking forward to seeing Omar and Andy’s evaluation of the players and putting their stamp on the draft.

Disagree to an extent...there is a reason that mediocre teams tend to remain mediocre for long periods...because you draft just low enough that you decrease the chances of impact players being available without having to trade up to get them. Then if you miss on a pick, it is an even harder ordeal not just from the busted pick but what you gave up to move up.

The fact that Pickett's rookie year is even being compared to Ben's is an issue if that's what people are expecting. Roethlisberger is an all-time great and had the greatest rookie QB season ever in terms of wins.
Yes lofty standards for any rookie QB to live up to.

An issue ? It’s human nature. Just like everyone compares Bill and Mike, singers, actors, politicians, presidents, cars, houses, dogs, cats, paychecks, big boobs, little boobs, and on and on. An issue? I think not. It’s human nature.

Ben's first Superbowl stat line -

So, yeah, but you know what, we won that game.

Joe
I hate comparisons like this. Pickett is not Big Ben, and this team isn’t that team. Success or failure by other players, none of which are currently playing, means nothing to the current players’ success or failure.
