For whatever reason the true 9 route is done in the NFL. Almost always some type of under throw back shoulder fade to either catch or get PI.

4.4 in the forty. Speed is not the issue. The fact that our genius OC only has him run go routes is the issue. If the DBs know what route he is going to run every time he's on the field, it's easy to cheat.
