these guys (PIT) are just in a funk. They are struggling with a team who has a QB who cannot run and except for a long play by Washington and one decent drive, the offense looks like crap. I have been believing the whole season that PIT was one of the top teams in the league and they just needed to get things together and work out some kinks, but now I wonder if they are just mediocre and are benefitting from a soft schedule lately,.

I’m sorry, but there have been many good plays today, not just one. Several perfect throws by Ben. Yes, they need to be better, (running, play calling) but your analysis is not accurate as to this first half.

Unfortunately, we have played not to lose instead of playing to win for most of Tomlin's time in Pittsburgh. He says they don't play to their fears but his actions certainly say other.

Washington has one of tge bedt defenses in the league... had we not had the mess last week this would have been a big trap game

I hear ya. WAS has the #7 defense in the league. I get it, but supposedly PIT is an offensive juggernaut with tons of receivers and one of the best OLines in the league and Ben has seen it all so you cannot fool him yet we just struggle and struggle just like last week vs BAL.

We have no run blocking so we cannot run the ball. Its like how Tomlin gave praise to Snell for running the ball last week by himself. Not the OLine. There was no good blocking. Snell just physically gained a bunch of yards on his own. I dont think Ive seen as bad of a run blocking OLine in the NFL in a long time. They cannot get a push off the line. They could not move WAS defense and could not score with 4 cracks at it from inside the 1 yard line.That is just weak and pitiful.

they certainly do but lets be honest, PIT is playing like a 6-5 or 5-6 team. They are mediocre at best right now. They look like they are flat most all the time. Maybe playing in front of no fans is wearing on them but something isnt right about this team and any decent to good team will show them the door come playoff time if they dont figure this crap out. That was a terrible half of football. The whole BAL game was difficult to watch. PIT is honestly just not that good. I hate saying it, but I cant find evidence that they are special.

I hate Colin Cowturd, but he basically said PIT earned all the skepticism that is around the team and Cowturd is right. PIT is undefeated but just not a good football team right now.

**** Cowherd. **** the NFL this team is tired and being jerked the **** around. Maybe if we played when we are supposed to and had a real bye we wouldn’t be the ******* walking dead. They owe us a real week off.

The truth is, the Steelers have a LOOOOOONG history of sucking *** in exactly these types of games.

This is nothing new. Struggle against teams you should destroy and play inspired ball against teams that ought to wreck you. The only difference this year, they've managed to win these games but they've still been nail-biters.
