They shouldn’t be rewarded for walking off thenfield with the ball.it is their responsibility not the refs to be ready. Holy ******* hell.

these guys (PIT) are just in a funk. They are struggling with a team who has a QB who cannot run and except for a long play by Washington and one decent drive, the offense looks like crap. I have been believing the whole season that PIT was one of the top teams in the league and they just needed to get things together and work out some kinks, but now I wonder if they are just mediocre and are benefitting from a soft schedule lately,.
Meh we got a break last week so it all evens out I guess

Where was the delay of game as Smith carries ball off field. Tomlin should have had that official by the collar. Total BS call,

So Smith runs off the field with the ******* ball and they stop the clock? then they restart it time runs out, but the half isn't over? Should've just gave them 3 points and saved all the bullshit.

Just to be sure the refs threw a flag in case the kicker missed it. You know, the dreaded defensive illegal formation penalty.
Should’ve been delay of game on Smith, at least.
Washington has one of tge bedt defenses in the league... had we not had the mess last week this would have been a big trap game
We had less than a minute to go in the half and we couldn't run the clock down or stop them from getting a FG. WTF!

What the rule changes: "(a) When Team A presents a punt, field-goal attempt or a Try Kick formation, a Team B player, who is within 1 yard of the line of scrimmage, must have his entire body outside the snapper's shoulder pads at the snap. (b) When Team A presents a field-goal or Try Kick formation: (1) No more than six Team B players may be on the line of scrimmage on either side of the snapper at the snap; Penalty: For illegal formation by the defense, loss of 5 yards from the previous spot. (2) Team B players cannot push teammates on the line of scrimmage into the offensive formation. Penalty: For unnecessary roughness, loss of 15 yards from the previous spot."

No urgency, no sense of going for the jugular there. We will now play not to lose the rest of the way.

they certainly do but lets be honest, PIT is playing like a 6-5 or 5-6 team. They are mediocre at best right now. They look like they are flat most all the time. Maybe playing in front of no fans is wearing on them but something isnt right about this team and any decent to good team will show them the door come playoff time if they dont figure this crap out. That was a terrible half of football. The whole BAL game was difficult to watch. PIT is honestly just not that good. I hate saying it, but I cant find evidence that they are special.
I hate Colin Cowturd, but he basically said PIT earned all the skepticism that is around the team and Cowturd is right. PIT is undefeated but just not a good football team right now.
You have to pay closer attention Hitman ..... this is obviously the new NFL........ if the Covid don't gets yaz ........ the refs or the Rog will ..... Steelers and fans beware

Soft draw call on third down. Throwing the ball at the line of scrimmage on third down. Both were mail it in calls.
