dude we gave up a **** ton of sacks, some were on Ben but our oline sucks at protecting him. Our running game is ******* beast when we decide to run.
 
It just took us turning this game over to the run game..Ben played mostly like **** but made enough plays down the stretch to secure the win...great job by the Offensive line...mauled and rolled their defense.....way to adjust...ran with what worked until they stopped it..and they couldnt stop it..........the change up to LeVeon is what changed this game, this was obvious.

It wouldn't have been hard if we hadn't given away 10 points at the end of the first half. The pick was bad, but Gay's play was just beyond stupid. He got greedy and thought he could get another pick 6.
 
We didnt mix it up enough in the second and third quarters...we abandoned the run and started passing...passing ..passing......
 
Steve Young making the point that the steelers can't just play hard for 2 quarters and expect to win.

This is what is so frustrating about this team. They have gone stretches where they look unbeatable, then they follow that up with a stretch where they look asleep and can't do anything right.

Hopefully this game will be where the light goes on and they realize they have to play hard for 60 minutes.
 
Props to Bell, but I'm not taking much joy from that win. Yeah, it's better than pissing it all away like the Jets game, but for crying out loud, can somebody get these guys to play a full 4 quarters?!

Can only hope. The offense continues to play better and expand the playbook each week and I hope to see both Troy and Ike back on the field in two weeks to strengthen a D that's hot and cold.
 
Hopefully we can learn to play four quarter football during the bye week.

Go cheer for them then, two of those guys have one ring and the other was busted for cheating.
 
Five games left. Four wins would almost make us a lock for the playoffs, and probably the division,. Three wins will have us looking at tie breakers. 9-7 is not likely to be enough this year. The game vs KC is gonna be huge.
 
Good win Steelers. We always make it hard smh. Ben should of audibled to the run earlier IMO. Big bye week get healthy and hopefully make a big run..lets go Steelers!!!
 
**** heads. If they had kept playing like shot, I could have gone to bed over an hour ago. But nooooooo. Keep it close so ark doesn't get enough ******* sleep.

Happy with the win. Thank the Lord for Leveon Bell and the run blocking up front. Buys them another week. Hopefully they get some bodies back after the bye. They have to get much better than tonight. That was brutal but saved by Bell. Ben winning the play calling chess match.
 
Did anyone catch the locker room and Tomlin trying to be fired up about the game and the players seemed to just ignore him. That was really weird , was like they lost. The fans outside seemed to be more into the win than the Steelers. We are in the drivers seat and no emotion from this team. I'll be the first to say not sure we are a playoff team but that locker room was not what I would have expected.
 
They have a shot to get some defensive starters back healthy which we NEED desperately. They need to bring back "The 60 Minute Men" mantra.

people just shrugged off the leadership a guy like Porter brought to the table, they don't have real emotional players/leaders.
