Claypool apparently did put in the effort in his 2nd offseason. He didn't in his 1st but this past offseason, he worked out hard and trained with someone (Ocho stinko or someone - I can't recall who). So, to say he hasn't done anything or even very little is totally missing the mark. He just still hasn't learned to run good routes or use his physical attributes to his advantage. That is a shame because he is a physical freak and if he does learn those things, he will be a very good WR for another team because he won't get a 2nd contract with the Steelers.
DJ was given his 2nd contract or an extension, if you will. That is the bad news, I guess. The good news is they didn't cave a give him crazy money like other teams were throwing around. And, DJ does apparently put in the work in the offseason and during the season. He just started dropping the ball again this year. He had one good year with few drops but this year is back to being ridiculous.
