Suck It Tomlin Haters! Suck It Down And Swallow Every Drop!! "TOMILIN RATED NEAR TOP"

I didnt know that we had Manning/Brady/Rodgers under center?

I didn't either. But if we did we would've been in the playoffs every years since Tomlins been here. And even added 1 more super bowl win under his belt if we had a Manning/Brady/Rodgers type QB on that final drive against the Packers in the Super Bowl.

I love when people ***** and moan about..............people bitching and moaning. I also find it amazing that some people want to give Tomlin a pass on ANYTHING, then dump on Ben like he sucks. Plain and simple, without Ben, we don't get close to making a run at the playoffs last year, and we lose Super Bowl 43.

Who's giving a free pass? Isn't it the players who play the game & not the coaches? Did Tomlin have anything to do with the interceptions? There's too many dumb ***** that can't comprehend that. And yeah if you ***** & moan I'm going to call you out for being a *****...

Just because a movie wins an Oscar, doesn't mean it is worth a ****, or anyone is willing to pay good money to see it.

I didnt know that we had Manning/Brady/Rodgers under center?

We don't; we have a different HOF QB.

One who has bailed out Tomlin (and Cowher) so many times I've lost count.

I'll bet Ben at least knows how many scoring drives it takes to score X points, and the difference between 17 and 18, and not to go for two from the 12-yard line, and not to walk onto the goddamn field during a kick return.

The fans may cry here but we all see 8-8 over two seasons is far from competitive. We never know what team we will see from week to week, we never see any changes after half, do we ever see any improvement for the young players? We all ready are picked to be third in our division, is this what we want to see under Tomlin who many here shout his praises.

Now, the Steelers' not winning a playoff game in nearly four years is mostly Roethlisberger's fault. Comical.

Anything to avoid holding Tomlin accountable, I suppose.

John Harbaugh has somehow been able to do much more with Joe freaking Flacco at QB during that span.

Same draft philosophies, same week-to-week gameplan, same suckitude at every key position except QB, same press conference platitudes, same blank stare

Lol What? Who in the hell 'bashes' Ben? He has been very instrumental to the success of the team. And just because I say he isnt one of the elite QB's in the league (top 4), does not imply that he is not extremely good. Just laughable that some of you excuse Ben for his shortcomings and turnaround and blame Tomlin for his. How about this? We need more from both of them...

As for your bitching comment about said bitching- its gets very tiring when you click a thread and 90% of it is argumentative whining. Not constructive arguments or interesting banter. Just pages and pages of:

Some of you dudes either need to get some azz or a new hobby

For this to be a Soo called Steelers Fans site there sure aren't too much positive post here. Good grief... May as well be a Brown's site, the fan base here is garbage.

We're fans of the Steelers. I don't know what pathetic team showed up to play last year, but it wasn't a team that inspired my fanaticism.

Those critical of Tomlin are aware of Roethlisberger's limitations and that the needs help from a good, consistent running game for the Steelers to maximize point production.

The problem is that the Steelers have failed to fix that problem during Tomlin's tenure, and through various coordinators and OL coaches, Tomlin has been he one constant in that specific display of incompetence.

Just 1 good game from Ben in either of those seasons would have been a play off spot. Just 1 more win. Did Tomlin ask Ben to play like **** in either of those games? Or turnovers by RBs etc? I'm not pointing out just Ben but if we had a HOF QB like someone stated that played consistently like one then yes we would've been in the playoffs every year.

And by different, you mean less talented? A prime Ben is in the same league as a prime Brees/Brady/Manning/Rodgers? Hell naw. Because if you can say Tomlin only looked good because he had 'Cowhers' players, you can certainly say that Ben is only in the HOF discussion because of his defense.

My argument is- the team looked flat Thursday. Maybe because of the RB situation. Maybe the DLine was shook from Kiesel taking someones job. Who knows? But that is MT's job is to get them ready- So I can place the blame on him for last week.

But Ben also looked terrible. That INT?!? rookies wouldnt even make that mistake. But the board is basically quiet about how BR looks, as if they turned a blind eye.

Not to derail this thread.. but whats wrong Joe Flacco. He is a good QB. If we didnt have Ben Id take him in a heartbeat.

ok i have a question for all the Tomlin haters here.. Who's fault was it when the Steeler's finished 8-8 in 2006? (Bill Cowher's last year).

Because if you use the logic that the Tomlin hater's use here, "Tomlin wins because of Ben and he's a HOF QB", "Tomlin inherited a team that just won the Super Bowl" then Bill Cowher's team should've made the playoffs in 2006. So using all the same logic it was Cowher's fault for finishing 8-8 & missing the Playoffs right?

You must be new here?? Oh yeah 16 posts.

Along with Colbert, and the scouting department, and the owners, and until this year the running backs coach. Not here to defend or denigrate Tomlin just pointing out that there are/were others in place that have been constants during this time frame.

This 8-8 is unacceptable **** needs to stop. I expect the players and coaches to say it cause they always think they can win more no matter what.....but let's be realistic. In 2012 the Steelers were already transitioning on defense and the mass exodus was at its tipping point. They also had a new OC and a starting RB coming off of a knee injury. Despite all this Ben was having his best season in a while and was keeping himself relatively clean (for Ben) until the KC game. The Steelers were 6-3 w/ 2 division games against Bal and Cle coming. Ben got hurt in KC and they lost both games. They win in Bal to save the season somewhat but Ben comes back and plays like **** down the stretch. Read between the lines. 2013 was every bit of an 8-8 year w/ the early injuries/aging players/inexperienced players not being able to overcome. Ur going to have seasons like this when ur rebuilding. Be glad it wasn't worse. I'm actually proud of the job Tomlin and the coaches did w/ the team down the stretch and as a spoiled Steelers fan I'm still grateful to have seen the success I've gotten to see. Get a grip guys.

Rich kotite and herm Edwards were thought of as top coaches at one point also. We have the new rich kotite

What did these Tomlin haters have to say about Cowher?? Tomlin did just as much as Bill in half the time. Im sick of all these non-athletes bitching about coaches as if they could do better. They sound like a bunch of whiny *******!

What does Bill Cowher have to do with back-to-back 8-8 seasons and the Steelers last playoff loss coming against Tim Tebow? Not really sure that I draw the connection.
