Suh Suspended For One Game

Suh is a douchebag. He'd make the perfect ratbird or raider. That **** was as intentional as it gets. He should have gotten much more considering his douchebag history on the field.

Yes, he did it on purpose. Yes, it was dirty. But ****, is there ANY chance with the appeal process that he gets to play Sunday against Dallas and the suspension gets moved to a later game???? I would be great to have him play against the cowboys, knock them off, then be suspended against the team that he committed the foul against the following week. The Lions need him (and I want him) playing against Dallas on Sunday.

Here in the Dallas suburbs, the cowboy fans are coming out of the wood-works. People that did not even watch football are now die hard cowboy fans. **** the cowboys.

That was BS. Shouldn't have been suspended. If you want to fine that's one thing. Worse stuff happens all the time!!

I think the problem is that Suh is considered a multiple repeat offender at this point. He's gone through the escalation of fines and suspensions for previous acts, you have to keep increasing the severity of the penalties at this point. Frankly I'm surprised it was only one game.

I agree with Wingman, if he was smarter, he would have stepped on the leg and instead of stepping on it again, you go, "Whoops!" and fall backwards and land ***-first on Rodgers' chest. Unfortunately for him, he's not smart and dirty, just dirty.

Just got a breaking news text from ESPN....Suh won his appeal of his suspension and will play on Sunday.

Radio reporting that he was fined $70,000. I don't think that stepping on Rogers' leg was all that egregious, sort of stuff happens all the time, but he's just a habitual repeat offender and the league isn't going to cut him any slack.

I am surprised they overturned Suh's suspension, honestly.

Aaron Rodgers beat me in fantasy once - the hell with him too...Ben gets stepped on all the time and nobody cares

Go Deetroit!

I agree with the decision...

No way do you suspend a guy for a playoff game for something that could not be 100% proved as intentional...

Not only that....but their playing the Cowboys...

Agree, it was marginal and you don't punish and entire team and fan base when it comes to a play off game. Suh is a huge douche, but in this case, the fine is enough.

I read in SI or someplace that off the field in person he's actually a pretty nice guy but once he steps on the field a switch goes off and he has anger management issues. Again, good player but I wouldn't want him on my team simply for what he costs in penalties and suspensions.

so you would have wanted Mean Joe cut from the Steelers?

Granted, different era......

Hey, the head slap wasn't illegal until they noticed him doing it a lot.

I have to say I love an aggressive player like Suh. Flip the switch and bring the pain kind of guy. Harrison many would argue was dirty. I strongly disagree and think he is a pure football player who brings all his strength, passion, aggression, and puts every thing he has into winning the game. Could watch him for 10 more years if he had it in him.

However, the Suh stomp and the "extra" step is a little much, but love the mean streak when the pads go on. I'd buy his jersey if it were black and gold.

But like I said earlier, he'll probably be a Raven if the Lions are foolish enough to let him walk. Harbaugh loves guys like him.

Suggs, Ngata, and Suh would be a formidable combination on defense (better leave Dri Archer in to block) but I don't see how they'd have the cap room with Unibrow sucking up all the money. And you KNOW if they try to renegotiate to get some cap room, the Brow will tell them to **** off.

I think the NFL does a litmus test to see how the public is responding and adjusts their punishment accordingly.

And/or they were worried about ratings.

Just keep him out of the AFC North please.

You're crazy if you think he wouldn't help our D up front. Some guys just need good coachin'...

I don't think this was an act to deserve suspension. Look at the WIDE ANGLE VIEW - he was being pushed and grabbed by the jersey simultaneously, Rodgers was taking a nap on the ground behind him. Oooopppss.

He does remind me a lot of a young Mean Joe...

The NFL is retarded. Their application of rules is about as inconsistent as the bullshit penalties they have.

Another player from the great era that had lots of extra stuff was Jack Lambert. He was also going after the whistle on lots of occasions.
