Suh Suspended For One Game

Suggs, Ngata, and Suh would be a formidable combination on defense (better leave Dri Archer in to block) but I don't see how they'd have the cap room with Unibrow sucking up all the money. And you KNOW if they try to renegotiate to get some cap room, the Brow will tell them to **** off.

Well, he is ELITE you know?

His TD/INT ratio is greatly improved and IMHO he went from one of the worst QB's last year to serviceable this year.

I'm no big fan of Suh, but I think a 1 game suspension for stepping on Rogers was a little much. That's all he did was step on him. He didn't stomp on him like he did that guy a couple years ago.

The old way is dead unfortunately. The entire 1970's defense and half of the offense would end up suspended indefinitely under today's rules.

I think suspensions in the playoffs for something that might have been unintentional is too much. Did not say was said might have been and a case could be made for that. If he is given the same consideration that any of the rest of us would want the standard beyond a reasonable doubt was not met.

I felt the whole thing was a big reactionary deal which is consistent under Goodell. They never should have rushed to judgment and say he was suspended when they did. They just throw **** out there see what the media/ public reaction is and then act accordingly. If Roger Goodell led US forces in world war 2 you better enjoy Sauerkraut and Sushi. He just isn't a leader. He might be a connected man, but he sure as hell isn't a leader of men. You thoughtfully make a decision and then you stand by it. The ****** Ravens target Ben every time they play him. You can call it a bounty, you can say it is unsaid, but they are targeting him for the extra business and they essentially said they do. Now he was hit twice with illegal hits from Courtney Upshaw in the first two meetings. One drew a 18K fine the other a 20k. So you are targeting one of the premier players with vicious and illegal hits, but that warrants a total of 38k in fines. He stepped on Rogers ankle and that warrants a suspension, but then you don't have the balls to follow through so you make it 70k. Embarrassing.

I LOLed at that

Now that the Lions are out - and we are too - let's discuss "bringing in Suh" for a look-see.

I know what I've read about his "dirty disposition" (Jack Lambert and Mean Joe Greene are somewhere laughing at this new football) - but I would SERIOUSLY consider, if I was allowed to provide insight to the team, I'd SERIOUSLY consider bringing in Suh to get some of the fear that our defense no longer has on each opponent. The kid is versatile enough to play DE/NT or DT and he forces offensive linemen and OC's to cover him w/ two players.

I'd like to see the defense get it's swag back this year - and sometimes, hard choices have to be made to achieve such goals...

We shall see (I know this is purely a pipe dream)....

Problem is that he's TOO good and I don't think we could afford him under the salary cap.
