Talent? Coaching?

Sure. Gimme a minute. It made news last year or a couple of seasons ago actually
Ok. Make sure we have build dates included. We are like 20plus years old by now

The last three weeks sure show Ben made Tomlin, how anyone out of the region think of him as this outstanding coach. Tomlin no name coaching staff has not made anyone better. We truly lack in the fundamentals, tackling, coverage, blocking. How many time Ben did bring the team back and then the defense allowed cheap scores. For some reason the defense gets a pass and really, they have not been good last five years. Middle linebacker has been poor at best. Tomlin speeches have lost their luster. No leaders on this team, no character at all.

I saw a post from a Tampa fan yesterday. They would jizz in their pants if they got Tomlin. He was bashing Steelers fans and saying any team would love to have Tomlin. Two 1st rounders and I'd be kicking him out.

Pure ignorance is what it is

Not sure one can really blame non-Steelers fans for having that view though, given it's largely based on the national media narrative that is peddled regarding Tomlin.

I can actually see Tomlin having great initial success somewhere else in the right situation (especially with a franchise QB) but that fan base would soon start seeing the same things and feeling the same frustrations we have felt for at least a decade now.

No doubt in my mind.

And I think most of us wouldn’t care if he had success. It just isn’t going to happen here. The same thing happened with Jamie Dixon at Pitt and now Mike Sullivan with the Penguins. The key would be making a good hire and I do believe with the right replacement the Steelers could turn things around in 1-2 seasons.

I would love nothing better than to accommodate that Tampa Bay fan.
Drop him with the Bucs and no franchise QB or SB roster and just wait and see.
Be ever so careful for what you wish for other NFL fans. I think Steeler fans have had a clear view the past 17 seasons.
