Where are all of the posters that said Trump didn't now what he was doing, it was going to doom our economy. Once again Trump was correct and you were wrong. Damn TDS is a terrible thing.

Also I’m sure the Florida and California Orange farmers and the Hawaiian pineapples market are thrilled to pieces he has taken off those tariffs allowing duty free. I’m sure the beef industry is as well. What a load of ****.But if Trump removes the coffee tariffs, the American coffee growers will suffer
Lol.Also I’m sure the Florida and California Orange farmers and the Hawaiian pineapples market are thrilled to pieces he has taken off those tariffs allowing duty free. I’m sure the beef industry is as well. What a load of ****.
I will admit to being one of those American coffee consumers and that the price of coffee has indeed gone up, but it hasn't affected me at all.Lol.
I don't think there are any American coffee growers, but lots of American coffee consumers, so this was just an additional cost for people....for what reason?
4D chess to bend over the Ecuadorian coffee Empire?
Yep.I will admit to being one of those American coffee consumers and that the price of coffee has indeed gone up, but it hasn't affected me at all.
For one thing, I've never stepped inside a Starbucks, and secondly, if you wait for the grocery stores to put coffee on sale, it's literally the same price pre-tariffs.
And his disciples follow him around blindly without a peep. Remember when he came out with his little placard with all those percentages that were absolutely made up bs. Good lord.Lol.

Now, with supply chains interrupted, relationships between importers/exporters strained, and American consumers paying more, what was the point?
Will select other commodities be exempted next week? Blueberries, dates and cobalt?
Was it Trump or his expert team that capitulated to the needs of American consumers? Now that they have identified the worst tariffs, will they move down the list to the almost as dumb tariffs?
There are MANY aspects to the tariff issue. But what was the point of the coffee tariff then? It seems to have been just to annoy consumers with a hidden tax on consumption, you know, for a while.
This has ALWAYS been the case in free markets. Increases are always passed on immediately, then kept in place as long as they can get away with them. When coffee import prices drop, will the grocery pass along those cost savings? Probably not, because their suite of food offerings has had many costs increased, and so reducing a few costs, like coffe, will just help their bottom line.
This seems to be the viewpoint from someone addicted to coffee products. This particular tariff is 100% voluntary.I do not understand how the consumer is not the loser here.
Politicians ALWAY lie, misconstrue and just plain make shyte up. Why people give any credence to what they say, simply amazes me. While Trump is not a politician in the true sense, he does think he is the smartest person in the room at all times and uses very similar tactics because he is working the same groups of idiots. And his disciples follow him around blindly without a peep. Remember when he came out with his little placard with all those percentages that were absolutely made up bs. Good lord.
Because some people's ability to understand politics is limited to anime levels? Why would anyone click on that?
Sadly, to some, it's their only motivation. Not everything is politically motivated.
