I would think Watt would be the easy can to kick?Heyward, at 34, you do not restructure. Too long in the tooth.
Restructure Minkah and free up $10 mil.

I'd put more weight of the blame on the OC, about 50% is ****** play calling, 20% is the QB's play and then we could add a 30% to DJ for the only catchable pass he had in the endzone, which of course he dropped, but still only one pass.DJ has already set the single-season NFL record for receptions without a touchdown by a wide receiver (77 and counting). Only James Wilder (85 in 1984) and Roger Craig (81 in 1986), both running backs, remain ahead of him overall in that dubious category. Scoring is kind of important.
Sure, it's a combination of things. Pickett only has 4 total touchdown passes in 9 starts, so that's part of it. But when you hear the words "#1 receiver," you think of a player who gets into the end zone regularly. At least I do. 0-for-77 is hard to fathom from a supposed go-to guy who makes $18 million a year.I'd put more weight of the blame on the OC, about 50% is ****** play calling, 20% is the QB's play and then we could add a 30% to DJ for the only catchable pass he had in the endzone, which of course he dropped, but still only one pass.
Move Johnson and bring in a Vet of some sort. We will draft another WR of course. The biggest need though is bringing in a new HC and let them bring their own staff with them. Let Omar pick his HC. Allow him to do his job as GM with his guys.My example was an extreme, something would have to happen if a whole new coaching staff was brought in. Johnson would be an EXAMPLE player gone to re-establish locker room culture and winning persona. More players would be gone as well, especially the lower tier.
Character would have to be majorly established.
I’m not the expert but a realist on how to change the culture somehow. I feel a drastic action would be needed.
Salute the nation

TJ's two years older than Minkah. I'd err on the side of caution in credit card spending and roll with the younger dude.I would think Watt would be the easy can to kick?
