They could simply have been returning to Egypt for other flights - you don't know - and "neighbor experts" are a dime a dozen


It is rather unusual to me that no debris was found with a clear, whole day of searching a fairly precise area with a wealth of search vessels. but the Med is still a big sea, with water depths to 10,000 ft in that area. It could all have sunk quickly. I guess we wait for daylight - they called off the search for the night.

That's just evil. I know acid. Not LSD so much, although I did it once in high school. Played Pitfall for two days and lived on deer sausage. That was fun. I'm surprised they didn't use hydrochloric, which is much faster. HCl is used to descale carbon steel. My customers use it for pickling flat rolled steel. Sulfuric acid is used for descaling coils of wire. Nitric acid, in conjunction with hydroflouric acid, (HNO3-HF) is used to descale stainless steel. And even then it's only used at a 10% solution. Nitric doesn't burn the surface of your skin right away, like HCl or H2SO4 does, it leaches into your body and dissolves your bones and organs from the inside. The religion of peace.

Get some generals in a room, call it a war, and go get it. Pull everyone out of any action not directly in the action plan, and go execute on it. That means no sending 250 special ops people in somewhere to "advise", no half measures, no depending on other countries, and frankly, no consideration of anything other than winning our war.

I'm with you, but this is unlike anything we have seen before. It's not like we wipe out a government and they'll go away, they are working out of Brussels, Paris, Minnesota. What we need to do is go after their financial backbone and cut it out. It very well could be an organized government. Wouldn't that be a ***** if they traced the money to 1600 Pennsylvania. Don't think it would be but just giving it back to the 911 conspiracy advocates.

You are right, it could happen on a flight from / to anywhere in the US, but you have every reason to be nervous. I pray for her safety.
 
My daughter did a tour of European capitals last summer and I was similarly worried about some sort of random event happening on a plane/etc. However, this was before the Paris massacre. I'm not sure she'd be going if it was this year.
