When I first heard you speak I said "Hire than Man"

You brought us our 6th Super Bowl ring in a game that was one for the ages. The behind the scenes footage showed that prior to the game you highlighted the need to practice interception returns. The end result was the greatest play in Super Bowl history. Thank You.

May God continue to bless you and your family in whatever you decide to do.

Thank you. A million times over for all the incredible memories.

Thank you for the early memories and some good wins along the way Mike. The SB win.

Thank you for that…

I really think Mikey T. goes the TV route and would do well with that.
Much better hours, much less stress, great money, have fun. What the hells not to like.
Once he gets in that environment much like Cowher, he won’t come back to coaching. He’d never be in a situation like he was here.

Thank you Tomlin......

For absolutely nothing! No but seriously, thanks for just blowing a whistle and staying out of the way during your first 4 or 5 seasons so the OC and DC could coach the great players on the roster. Also, thanks for regular season wins that amounted to nothing. Take care!

The kids are not going to take this too well they have never known any other coach! He was a lot like the city he had a blue collar class about him much like Chuck Noll. But time waits for no one! One was born the year we hired Coach Tomlin. He did the right things to the bitter end, didn’t make the Rooney’s fire him.. in a tough circumstance they all handle a touch situation with class. Tomlin’s staff got the team into the mess they are in! Just didn’t develop the talent they drafted. Drafting as we all know is how the Steelers roll. We just got to the point we had no talent where you need it most in the skilled positions. He was hurt by the poor job Colbert did before leaving town and the new gm taking a while to get use to the position using all his top draft picks to take linemen that may or may not be busts. Winning has many fathers losing is but a ******* child. Good bye coach don’t let the door hit you in the ***! You have too much class to let it!

I believe he is a very classy man and represented the team very well. Anger at him overstaying his welcome is at the feet of the Duece. I think if he could have found better assistant coaches and coordinators and let them do their job he could have contended more. Wholly and completely necessary but in his words Im not throwing dirt on that grave. Good luck Mike Tomlin. Thanks for some really good Sundays!

I NEVER disagree with Super Dave! So, I'll just move along...

I thank him for the super bowl win and wish him the best, but I had a different take when I heard him speak. I said, "Oh, hell No! I don't want that talking fool!" I did not want him from day 1!

I’m certainly not going to be a hypocrite now and get all mushy over Mediocre Mike. I’ve criticized him for years now so I’ll speak frankly.
Mike, thank you for stepping down! Best of luck to you in your future endeavors.

I think everyone has an opinion on it. I think less then 20 percent of knowledgeable fans wanted him back. I wanted him gone for last five. Won an unwanted bet that he would never win another playoff game in Pittsburgh. But I did like and respect his persona. And I did enjoy more Sunday's then not. And I did really ****** enjoy one of them

If he stepped down in 2013, I would have wished him well. At this point, I don't care.

While the results weren't always how we wanted them, there were a lot of good times over the years and incredible games. He certainly earned the respect of his peers and many from around the league. Super Bowl 43 will forever be some of my favorite football memories and showcased the best offensive and defensive plays in Super Bowl history. I wish him the best for whatever is ahead.
