So does anyone know anyone personally who has it? Or does anyone know of any friends or family members who know someone who has it -- much less a severe case? Tom Hanks doesn't count as he's playing a role with Jenny that was foreshadowed years ago through predictive programming in Sleepless in Seattle and the HIV Social commentaries aka "Philadelphia" and "Forrest Gump" with spousal deaths from the last End of Days plague. Not to mention "Castaway" now which is a great precursor to this October's "Bios" starring Tommy Boy.
I suspect both Trump and Tommy Boy will make ultimate recoveries in time for the Fall Shows.
But seriously, is anybody concerned that our government has effectively banned the right to peaceably assemble, worship in public, and has started the NG rollout?
They didn't do it like in China through forced capitulation. They didn't have to. We acquiesced because truthfully we do value temporary security over liberty to borrow from Ben Franklin.
When Boston sheltered in place and hid out in their homes because of 2 dimwit Chechnyans on the loose, it was quite clear then that the Constitution is more theory than law of the land. It's a trading commodity in times of crisis.
But there's no guarantee things ever go back to where they were. They don't. They can't.
So, give it two weeks like good little boys and girls, but then it will time for the public to start pushing back on business closures and federal and state dictatorship under the pretense of crisis. They're now going to saddle 850 Billion dollars of more bailout and stimulus obligations on the US taxpayer.
I love Trump, but he's literally and figuratively just reading from a script now. He is not his own. His people won't like what they are seeing with big government solutions and dictates that would make Barack Obama blush at this point. If Obama had done this?
Politically, I realize Trump was between a rock and a hard place with the Katrina shadow, a den of vipers in the media and in an election year, but actions speak louder than words.
The "solutions" are a million times worse than the problem at this point. We've been played and hocked to the hilt.
