The Coronavirus thread

has anyone seen our Board Libs since the Stimulus Bill made light of day?
wondering when they're going to drop by and blow smoke up our *****.

Already saw quite a few on FB bashing Trump for "screwing over the military and police" by threatening to veto the bill. Give them time, most libs have to watch at least a weeks worth of news and tv shows to be told how to think about anything and then actually comprehend it and reverberate it.

They haven't been told what to think just yet. They need at least 48 hours for the full talking points brief, Communist manifestos to be written for the purpose of sharing, and only then are they able to spew their illogical and unscientific tripe upon us "uneducated" folk.

This is just beautiful. It's a "Hypocritical Political Leader COVID Violation Tracker" with a map that lets you hover over incidents with pop ups.

Have fun!

Some officials have violated their own rules more than once. See the full list at bottom.

Well peeps, I tested positive today.

Saturday 12/19 Mr. OFTB and I attended a small (10 person) outdoor firepit gathering. There was some inside action getting food and drinks, using the restroom, etc. Otherwise outside. No masks for the most part.

12/23 3 family members came to visit us for the holiday. Later that evening I started to get a little bit of a cough. Not even a cough really, a tickle in my throat. Joked about having coronavirus with my relatives.

12/24 and 25 things were pretty much status quo. A little tiny cough, a slight runny nose, I was keeping my distance from people and washing my hands like a madwoman but none of us were really concerned.

12/26 family members left to go home. Status quo. I wasn't really concerned at all but since I was scheduled to work with old people Monday I scheduled a rapid test for today 12/27. My daughter who is scheduled to go back to college in a couple weeks had a slight cough so also scheduled a rapid test.

12/27 wake up and my cough and runny nose is a bit worse. Mr. OFTB informs me he has a cough and cannot taste or smell at all. So weird.

Later today we got a text from friends that several people who were at the firepit gathering tested positive this week.

I tested positive and so did my daughter.

I have cold symptoms, that's it. No fever or shortness of breath or anything else. My hubby has no taste or smell and a slight cough. Also no fever. I'm a little worried about him because his BMI is pretty high. He's a big broad shouldered guy though so even though on paper his BMI is bad it's not as bad as it seems.

Wish us luck.

Anyway I just post all this info so you all know that it might be way more subtle and weird than you think. I was getting tested just to clear myself for work. In no way shape or form did I think I had it. Hopefully we all have a mild course. I'll let you know.

I have a friend who is pushing 400lbs and has heart problems that got it and was never really that sick.

There is something genetically that makes some more vulnerable than others.

OFTB,

I hope that you and your fam can breeze thru the Rona. Zinc, Vit C&D, etc, same as for flu. My wife always suggests much garlic , lemon and sublingual oil of oregano, which tastes like ****, but seems to have a positive effect most times.

Your mild case means that you can keep them sammiches flowing for your hubby!

We used to call that "getting a cold." I hope you recover quickly.

Hope you have a speedy recovery. Of all the people I know, except for one, their symptoms were mild. So mild in one person that the only thing she said had was the loss of smell and taste. You'll be fine.

Hope things stay solid for you and your family, OFTB. Sounds pretty good so far. I very much encourage you to take zinc and erythromycin, which in combination have shown very good results.

Well even after staying away from people as much as we could in Florida we managed to have my sons girlfriend test positive today. Although I am not sure my negative test a few weeks ago was correct as I have had a cough for at least 3 or 4 weeks now with a runny nose. I think the testing is basically a crap shoot.

Damn man very sorry to hear. Stay safe and take care of the family!

I tested positive back in May. My only symptom fatigue.
Mild headaches.

Although in February last year, I had the sickest cold/cough/sinus infection

Taking zinc and Vitamin C, so far no real reason to see a doctor for any of us,

I gobble up vitamin C like it was candy...well it sorta is because I buy the 250mg gummies.lol

I travel a lot for my work, been to 4 outdoor gatherings and fall and a wedding. Through my company we can get tested any time we like. I took the test last week, and of course I'm negative.
It's the vitamin C

Who better to know about vitamin C than a doctor from China.
