Maybe it was one of those online degrees from ACME Law School or something. The one thing that sticks out, is how Steeltime makes **** up out of thin air. Like that I worked as a barista in a coffee shop. Still laughing at that. Funny, if the borders were actually secure and we could control who comes and goes like New Zealand did and we had known earlier, instead of being lied to by the chinese government, we might have had a chance to stop the spread. It would have required a total shut down of all travel into and out of the country which at that point would never have been supported by the left. All things Trump might have done but the Democrats would have fought tooth and nail.

The whole mask debate is pointless as wearing them as they have been used and worn has been proven to do no good whatsoever and possibly has had a detrimental impact by actually spreading the virus more than it supposedly stops it.

No, viruses don’t spread themselves. They require hosts to spread them. Most countries fared much better than the US in mitigating Covid because they followed that science. Conversely, you had the Rose Garden ceremony.

No, I believed in the science that it could be mitigated. The number of cases and subsequent hospitalizations and deaths was not predetermined. Neither was the amount of time it would take to get back to (mostly) normal. It could indeed be helped, other countries are the proof.

Are you kidding me? first off you're reading the sentence wrong as I missed a comma, but regardless yes people actually wear the same mask over and over and over again, taking them off putting them on counters and table tops rarely if ever washing them. This is just one of the many problems with the whole concept. I will cede that had the right masks been worn and disposed of the correct way maybe it would have mitigated the disease to a degree but the reality of the situation is exactly the opposite. Mask mandates killed people by be the sprader of this disease in many ways. Come to a Walmart in Ohio and tell me masks are doing a damn thing to stop anything. Drive through the inner city and look at the streets just littered with nasty *** used masks. MAybe the mandates started with best intentions but it flew in the face of any real applied scientific theory on human behavior and the spread of disease. I don't know how low cases will get. I know it isn't going away, which brings us to your last point. One piece of the science I do agree with, today (unless new research comes out) is that COVID is going to be like the flu, it mutates, we will never eradicate it. You deny "this" science and say that it will linger for decades because people won't get vaccinated - meaning you believe we can eradicate the virus if everyone gets vaccinated. We can't eradicate the flu or the cold. Bu you think we can and should try to eradicate COVID????
