The Coronavirus thread

That’s the difference between you and me. If someone says they have proof of something but refuses to share it, that creates doubt for me. Whereas you’re somehow compelled to believe them.

That explains your relentless posting of dubious websites and openness to conspiracy theories.
You statement here only goes to show that your gray matter is controlled by your ideology. Countless posts have been presented with sources backing them up and every single response from you is nothing more than biased rhetoric with a knee jerk response. Take a deep breath and reply with a substantiated comment. To do otherwise only makes you look like a fool. You're welcome.

Great read on how the media has waffled on the origins of the virus, last year accusing anyone, like Sen Cotton, of being conspiracy theorists to now scrambling to figure out the origins.

Great Tweets inside showing countess outlets making fun of the theory last year, only to now having done a full 180 degree turn.

LOL

Wasn’t her party fully vaccinated?

Aren't you the guy who insists that vaccinated people can still get the Chinese flu? Why yes. Yes you did.

Also, idiot, the issue is the fact she ordered Michigan residents to avoid such gatherings and then attended the very thing she banned for others - again.

"The people telling us to be afraid of Coronavirus don't seem to be afraid of Coronavirus."

Now everybody is agreeing that I was right when I very early on called Wuhan as the source of COVID-19, sometimes referred to as the China Virus. To me it was obvious from the beginning but I was badly criticized, as usual. Now they are all saying “He was right.” Thank you!

Indeed he was. Here's a good piece on Washington Compost fact checker Glen Kessler who spent all of last year working like mad to discredit Trump and make him look bad for suggesting the virus came from Wuhan.

Now? Kessler says the theory is viable.

You can't make it up. They lie, they don't care. They take pride in it and flip-flop with ease, no sense of shame or remorse.

Never forget....

I don't agree with fining businesses. If they want to require you to wear a shirt, shoes, or a mask for service then they have a right to do so and as such, you have a right to give them your business, or not.

HypoFlog's favorite doctor, Dr. Makary from Johns Hopkins is back. Says half of us have natural immunity already.

Queue flog in 3, 2....1 - "No they don't! He's a quack! JHU doesn't have real doctors! Listen to the science you flat earther!"

Makary, however, disputed claims that natural immunity is inferior to that acquired through vaccination, saying that both are “probably life-long” and that no boosters will be needed.

“There is more data on natural immunity than there is on vaccinated immunity, because natural immunity has been around longer,” Makary claimed. “We are not seeing reinfections, and when they do happen, they’re rare. Their symptoms are mild or are asymptomatic”

Makary claimed that the U.S. has already achieved the 85%-benchmark, or herd immunity. However, “the most slow, reactionary, political CDC in American history” has been ignoring the fact that nearly half of the unvaccinated people are naturally immune, according to Makary.

“Please, ignore the CDC guidance,” he added. “Live a normal life, unless you are unvaccinated and did not have the infection, in which case you need to be careful.”

“We’ve got to start respecting people who choose not to get the vaccine instead of demonizing them,” Makary asserted.

At some point this rubbish must end. Now is that time. If it had any legitimate reason now to impose this mask stuff, I'd agree. It doesn't.

They may as well mandate masks for every flu season now as well.

Shirt&shoes are standard, unless you live at the beach.

Why should a business have a legitimate reason to impose any policy on it's patrons? I went to a restaurant while on business and an associate of mine was refused entry because his tie and pocket square were too "Busy". There is no legitimate reason in this scenario, it's was based on perception alone. We could have left and held the dinner meeting elsewhere, but he chose to remove the pocket square and wear a house tie. Freedom for all, including businesses.

Uhh, this business should spend about an hour at any major airport. A tie and pocket square are the issue? I take that over the 300 lb. woman wearing yoga pants, the guy with a tee-shirt that is too short to cover his hairy beer belly, and the woman with a dozen pieces of metal stuck in her face and wearing what look like pajamas.

A tip for travelers, one I borrowed from a funny writer named P.J. O'Rourke. He wrote that he always travels wearing a dress shirt, necktie and sports coat, since he is treated better by the TSA as a result. I do the same and sure enough, it works. Have something you need the crew to put on a hanger? No problem. Board whenever you want? No problem.

What I have been saying all along....

New York Post columnist Miranda Devine began the segment by arguing that the confusion over the lab-leak theory had largely come about because the media had actively attempted to discredit anything that was promoted by former President Donald Trump or anyone who supported him.

“It’s about this cheerleader form of journalism where they anointed certain people and certain authorities as you know the saints, could say no wrong,” Devine began, arguing that the “anointed” included Dr. Fauci, the World Health Organization and Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

“People were sitting in their laundry rooms just swooning over him. same with Anthony Fauci. How many magazine covers has he been on? And they sanctified the wrong people. The problem is when you have the cheerleaders in the media deciding that everything that comes out of Anthony Fauci’s mouth is correct and everything that comes out of President Trump’s mouth is wrong, they don’t look at the facts, they don’t judge them logically,” Devine continued.

The result, Devine argued, was that no one did any objective reporting on the issue and a year went by where no one was really challenging the prevailing narrative even though there was plenty of circumstantial evidence to suggest that an investigation was warranted.

“It was obvious from the beginning as you and the president said, that the evidence pointed to the most plausible theory, being the lab leak hypothesis. No one was saying it was definite, but there was so much circumstantial evidence, that intelligence agencies had allowed us to see. And there were journalists who were ignored, who wrote about it and spoke about this,”
Devine added.

“The worry is that now we are a year on and suddenly the media that was denying the truth back then is accepting reality, but we’ve lost valuable time,” she continued. “It’s like a murder and the corpse is dead. The crime scene is finished. They’ve caused great harm to this country and then when you talk about social media censoring anybody who raises questions about it, it’s chilling, it’s Orwellian.”

“To the point about public health authorities, Dr. Fauci, in particular, didn’t just do it about-face on the origins of COVID, he did an about-face on mask-wearing, an about-face on asymptomatic spread, a flip-flop on the timing of the vaccine, that’s a lot of about-faces and flip-flops,” McEnany replied.

LOL! Take a step back, and look at your damn fool self.

You, a person with family members recently infected with Covid, posting an article suggesting that we have already achieved herd immunity. How separated from reality can you get?

I don't agree with it either, but where did Abbott say that? He said local governments and public schools, tax payer-funded entities.

The food must of been worth it?
I had a Macallan 18 and a small plate of different oysters. I always get the same thing. You never get enough to eat at those places or they drown everything in sauces. ******* French.
