The morning after the mid term elections

So I watched CNN last night. They are very nervous. Why? Because they are outspending Republicans big time, and if they make a poor showing, what excuse can they have except for their polices are resonating with the voters. A draw in the mid terms, would be a set back for the Dems and the party in power only kept both houses three times in our history for mid terms.

A Republican slim majority can still happen for the house, and if that happens, Libs will become completely undone.

If Dem's gain a narrow lead in the house, OKAY, I recommend Republicans huddling up and quickly passing the big laws NOW. If not President trump get out your executive order pen, and go to work.

Ok look, one of six things are going to happen...

A. Democratic blow out... they pick up a plurality of votes in both the house and senate... this isn’t happening and even if it did they wouldn’t have enough for removing the president or overriding a veto.... this was the originally promised blue wave... this would justify their antitrump prosocialism agenda....

B. Dems win the house with a decent gain, Get the senate by a vote or so... this is tge current hope of the Dems... its a longshot to get the senate though...

C. Dems gain the house easily but don’t get the senate.... this is the odds on favorite .. gridlock and both sodes bickering for a few years will ensue...
(Im a pro gridlock fan over any one party doing whatever they want)

D. Dems barely gain the house dont get the senate.... this is the last acceptable scenario for the dems... Republicans will call it a massive win for trump and their agenda though

E. Republicans hold both... the Dems will meltdown and it fractures them greatly going into 2020

F. Doomsday Republicans gain seats in both houses... Dems scream about some imaginary fraud... civil war level meltdowns ensue

Republicans did close to nothing with the House, whether Dems win it, or Republicans hold it, close to nothing will continue.

I'm going with F or E.

I'm going with D, with the Republicans picking up seats in the senate. The house really doesn't matter as much. For openers Republicans can huddle up now and PASS any LAW before the new session, and President Trump can executive order what he pleases.

E would be a nice surprise, and make me never want to trust the polls again.

F can be seen weekly regardless of who wins the election as long as Trump is President, but this I'm moving to Canada thread remains a running joke. Sure, sure.

If that were to happen Pelosi might jump off the Golden Gate. Now you wouldn't want that to haunt you would you?

What haunts me is Democrats prefer Socialism to Capitalism. As bad as Pelosi is, her replacement could be worse. If Socialism takes hold, I might actually switch parties and vote for moderate Democrats during their primaries, and Republican, ( 90% ) of the time of the general elections.

The Congress under Pelosi will not be about passing legislation. It will be about spending, and starting every investigation of anything Trump. Schiffty will be on MSNBC every night creating a daily hysteria. Maxine Waters will continue to be an idiot. And all of the current investigations regarding FISA and spying on Trump will end. On the other hand, Trump will restructure the DOJ, and have those investigations done correctly, with teeth.

On Election Eve, Nancy Pelosi Promises to Be Speaker: ‘I’m Really Good At What I Do’

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) told HuffPost in an interview published Monday that she is confident Democrats will win the House of Representatives, and that she is the best candidate to be Speaker of the House. The interview notes that Pelosi “is mapping out her speakership before waiting to see if Democrats win control of the Hou

“I know the territory,” Pelosi said in a recent interview, between bites of a chocolate gelato waffle cone in a suburban Maryland cafe. “And I’m really good at what I do.”

Pelosi told HuffPost that she does not want to impeach President Donald Trump — though other leaders, including her deputy, suggested that Trump should be impeached for “treason” after he held a joint press conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin earlier this year.

She could be, my highly technical voting polling results after I voted saw two young women in line at the local Baptist church, that never happens, saying it could happen

It's amazing how much more I care about these midterm elections now that I have a president who gets **** that I care about done. It really didn't matter that much with either of the Bush's in office.

ayep, my polling predicted that right

Well, it isn't the end of the world. We have a more solid majority in the Senate. Maybe we are not so dependent on RINOs over there. The democrats can run around making fools of themselves for the next two years while the Senate and the President keep them in time out. This might actually be good for Trump's re-election.

The next two months are going to be very interesting.

Exactly. If there's an upside it's that the GOP didn't lose as many seats in the House as the President's party usually does in the midterms. They will likely overreach and get blown out in 2020.
In PA Wagner and Barletta got crushed as I expected. The mother f'n eastern Republican power brokers haven't figured out that our last three Republican governors and three of our last four Republican Senators all came from western PA.
I thought if Rothfus lost it would be close but he had an uphill slog in a redrawn district with more Democrats in it plus his support of President Trump was always tepid at best going back to the Presidential primary. Keeping Trump at arm's length I don't think was a good plan.

This short clip of Obama has it all:

- Mocks Ebola outbreak that killed thousands
- Mocks press for caring about Hillary's e-mails.
- Mocks Trump for cell phone use
- Says "a bunch of poor refugees" not a threat
- Says Trump moving troops to border is "a political stunt"

Obama campaigned in Florida, Georgia, Texas, Missouri, and Indiana.

And all those statewide races went RED.

Thanks Obama!!

hahahahahahahaha

Glad the shitshow is over for the time being. "Go vote! Get out and vote. Just vote so your voice is heard!" If you are going to pull the lever and not care about being heavily taxed in PA, then I have nothing else for you. We have the highest gas around thanks to Wolfe, as well, but just so they voted Blue, it doesn't matter. SMH.

Dem base shall expand exponentially now that ex-felons regain their voting rights.

First of all straight party vote options ought to be abolished in Pa like it is in many states...

Secondly, an 11 seat majority in the house is virtually nothing... that isn’t even assured to last past the next year really...

Thirdly the dems won or were competitive by focusing on matching candidates to locations instead of the bland best clone candidates. This didn’t work as well on the entire state level as it did for congressional districts. It also cannot be done in a presidential race....
The Dems are mad because this election didn’t give them an antitrump mandate and doesn’t give them a clear path to 2020

Tibs' savior, Ocommie-Socialist, won

Why do we have two threads with the same ****?

******* Coach again - OK I will just copy all the **** from the ******* other one!

Great news!

Andrew Gillum Concedes to Ron DeSantis in Florida Governor’s Race

(CNN)Republican Ron DeSantis will win the race to become Florida's 46th governor, defeating Democrat Andrew Gillum to become the state's fourth consecutive GOP chief executive.

By outlasting Gillum, the Tallahassee mayor vying to become Florida's first African-American governor, DeSantis also gave a boost to President Donald Trump, who campaigned for the former congressman at two events in the final days before the election -- and whose endorsement DeSantis traded on to win the nomination over the establishment favorite

For some reason the radical Libs are losing their **** again, lol

I'm extremely disappointed...538 Exit Polls: 51% of Voters were White 45yrs +, A total 74% of The Vote was WHITE = Another Huge GOTV Failure

Florida sucks, Kentucky sucks, Indiana sucks, Tennessee sucks! Even though Dems will get the House, I still feel like a loser, Florida and Georgia are huge disappointments

WTF Stupid Ohio morons!!! fuckityfuckityfuckit Soooo disappointed!

I am still in tears, I'm so disappointed in people, I'm bummed, I'll admit it. I've waited for two years for tonight, I just can't believe how many of our neighbors support what the GOP has become

Jeff Flake - GONE!

Bob Corker - GONE!

John McCain - DEAD GONE!

Never Trumper Scott Walker - GONE!

Paul Ryan and all the Boehner Boys - GONE!

It appeared that Pa, Michigan, Wisconsin and somewhat Iowa turned on Trump. The Dem 2020 nominee will have to be someone with strong appeal in
those 4 states.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for Speaker of the House!!!

The next two years will be very entertaining.
