It certainly proves beyond any doubt they're doing the right thing. Now actually fixing it is the monumental task. The judicial system is a weapon for them as well and they're using it,even when they have zero legal grounds to do so.
 
It doesn't matter what Trump, Elon or DOGE does, no one on the emotionally charged left will change their feelings on this. I say feelings because logic and common sense eludes them.

Let's say the Federal government issues those $5,000 checks to every taxpayer, personally I think any savings they find should be put toward the debt, but let's say they do.
The socialists will still be screaming because the money was only sent to taxpayers, something that few of them have ever been.
 
36+ trillion in debt. What don't people understand? We're long past broke. Do they want a controlled descent back to solid ground where we can hopefully start to rebuild or a fiery catastrophic crash?

The same people bitching about cutting spending will be the same ones asking why nothing was done when it all comes crashing down. And it is going to if we don't reverse course in a big hurry. It's just a matter of when.

I hope I never reach a point where my hatred of one person and everything that person says and does completely overrides any semblance of common sense and my own self-preservation. How miserable do you have to be?
