Hunter Biden to be guest speaker for Tulane University class; see complete list

10-week course is titled 'Media Polarization and Public Policy Impacts'

Hunter Biden, son of President Joe Biden and target of Republican attacks during the 2020 presidential campaign for his business dealings in Ukraine, is one of nine guest speakers scheduled to address a new 10-week class at Tulane University, a university spokesperson confirmed Tuesday night.

The online course is called "Media Polarization and Public Policy Impacts." Fox News said it will focus on "the current state of the media landscape in the United States and how media polarization, fake news and the economics of the new business impact public policymaking in Washington D.C."

A Tulane spokesperson said the course's co-teacher will be Andrew Schwartz, communications director for the Center for Strategic and International Studies, a U.S. think tank that researches national security policy.

The course is to rotate through these guest speakers, in addition to Biden:

  • Dr. Deborah Birx, White House coronavirus response coordinator under President Donald Trump
  • Susan Glasser, columnist for The New Yorker
  • Margaret Sullivan, columnist for The Washington Post
  • Juan Williams, political analyst for Fox News
  • Kylie Atwood, national security correspondent for CNN
  • Margaret Brennan, moderator for CBS News' "Face the Nation"
  • Bret Stephens, columnist for The New York Times
  • Michael Fauntroy, political science professor at Howard University.

Welp, the Dems are back in office, weaponizing agencies against their political opponents....again.

IRS, Lois Lerner...
FBI, FISA, spying on political opponents

FBI targeting Trump's lawyer. Par for the course.

The irony? As they collected electronic devices in the dawn raid, they saw a laptop. When Rudy told them that was the actual Hunter laptop, the FBI refused to take it. Literally, refused to.

Trust in Government.....is....?

6.4% GDP Growth, When does the depression start?

Wow, what a shock. The government spends $5 trillion it does not have and the GDP shows a short-term increase commensurate with the suicidal spending.

To do this, GDP (which we denote as Y) is divided into four components (Components of GDP). Consumption (C), Investment (I), Government spending (G), and Net exports (NX).

Y = C + I + G + NX.

Hey, weren't you concerned about unbridled government spending a few months ago? Wasn't that you? Nahh. I mean, what kind of fake, pompous *** would whine about deficit spending in 2020 and then stain his drawers eight months later because massive deficit spending, at a rate never before seen, triggered a GDP increase?

Yeah, no. ****...no.

"Taxpayers shelled out $81 billion for Amtrak between 1971 and 2017; Biden wants to spend $80 billion more"

Amtrak proves Government running business is bad. Amtrak's NEVER turned a profit and has wasted $81Billion of our tax dollars already. 30 years of waste is proof enough - the Government and Amtrak have failed.

Turn it over to private enterprise instead of fleecing us again.

Amtrak is also not essential. Outside of the Northeast corridor, it's simply not a useful form of transportation. It's infrastructure isn't vast enough to provide value to most Americans. Amtrak is nothing like public transportation in Europe.

Driving by car is faster for 99% of Americans in this country. Example: The car train from Lorton VA to Sanford Fl takes 17 hours (4PM to 9AM). You can drive the same distance in 11 hours.

Amtrak is also not always cheaper than airfare...which is still faster.

Amtrak doesn't go to all 50 states. And in the majority of states, Amtrak has one track only going through the entire state. Don't live near that track? You may have a 3, 6, 9 hour drive just to get to a station. Amtrak simply can't get most people to where they want to go, there simply aren't enough tracks or destinations.

Using your words Joe, "it's a bonehead idea."

I realize I will probably get hammered for this and since we cant protect the border as needed ....it Might not be a bad idea to invest in Mexico...
Could actually decrease the illegal immigration coming this way by providing opportunities where they come from.

However, its a shame that we have to sacrifice job growth here to keep people in country's that they are citizens in.

I'd say that makes sense and is logical, except we've invested in Mexico before, including car plants. Didn't do a thing to illegal immigration. So I think we have evidence that this alone will do little to stem that tide.

Ten years or so ago I had a pharmacy intern who just happened to be Mormon. The mission he went on was to Mexico City, where he stayed for about a year I believe.
Anyway, the consensus of everyone he met there was that the citizens of Mexico laugh at the USA, because they know that those that are encouraged to head north are the ones they don't want in their country. I'm not sure that throwing money at Mexico will change that.

Every Corona I drink keeps a job in Mexico.

Mexico is run by the cartels. Until that is fixed, folks will continue to run for safety.

I’m almost certain if DT had his last four. We would have, with consent of Mexican govt, gone in a wiped **** out. ..... But.....another snake will always arise when the need is there, and the us drug need enables it.

Well, remember. You need that train to bring all the tributes to D.C. for the big parade before the Hunger Games start. It's ******* essential man.

Now, go grow some ******* food, or cut us some lumber you ******* dirty peasant. Vegetable and Vice Prostitute have some food to eat and barf up so they can eat some more.

Nothing at all wrong with this is there? The CDC, our "medical" voice through COVID, let the teacher's union shape the policy for reopening schools.

Thankfully my district doesn’t follow this. AND this year my wife finally agrees with me and our child is going back

"The last Obama budget of 2016/17 led to 3.982 trillion of federal spending. The 2020/21 federal budget is 4.829 trillion. That's almost
a 1 trillion increase in government spending. Trumps 2 trillion in tax cuts led to a 1% decrease in unemployment. That doesn't come close to paying for them. Even before the virus
Trumps policies set us back on course for a fiscal train wreck. Now with the virus, the train is about to crash. Trumps fiscal policies are not the least bit conservative and will someday be
viewed as wreckless causing long term damage to the United States."
