I think I got it from someone on this site. Might have been Mr V. One of the ingredients is Sazon Goys which I'd never heard of. Also includes cumin, brown sugar, salt, pepper, garlic salt, celery salt, oregano, ground chipotle.If you just throw them on it's fine too. The flavor of the meat itself wont be what your used to as the salt didn't get to do it's thing. What type of rubs do you normally used and what type of wood? Just curious. I used a new rub yesterday named Sweet Rub O'Mine, It's like a BBQ chip flavor. Best rub I've used yet.
1/4 cup brown sugar
Tbsb of cumin and sazon Goya
Tsp of everything else
Cook two hours on low heat, turn after 1 hour
Wrap the ribs in foil but before sealing add pineapple juice. Cook an additional 2 hours.
Add hickory chips as necessary.
Crisp them up over direct heat to finish them off.
