The Official Thread Dedicated to "Trump Winning"

Amazing what happens when you get libtards out of office.

The U.S. economy added 209,000 net jobs in July, beating expectations by more than 25,000 jobs, while the unemployment rate ticked down slightly to 4.3 percent from 4.4 percent.

More on this: http://www.foxbusiness.com/markets/2017/08/04/us-economy-adds-more-jobs-in-july-than-expected.html

When is the last time an alphabet news source reported on unemployment, or job growth, or median income, or home ownership, or interest rates, or the status of America's 401k accounts, or GDP, or indeed any economic news? I have to read the economic data from the WSJ. Otherwise, I would swear it doesn't exist.

To wit:

The U.S. economy gathered momentum during the first full quarter with President Trump in charge. Economic growth accelerated to an annual rate of 2.6% from April through June, the government said Friday.

http://money.cnn.com/2017/07/28/news/economy/gdp-second-quarter-trump-economy/index.html

In the months since Donald Trump became America's 45th president, the unemployment rate among black people has hit the lowest number since 2000. In February, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reported the black unemployment rate at 8.1, but the number dropped to 8.0 in March, 7.9 in April, and 7.5 in May.

President Trump announces sixth round of conservative judicial nominees

President Trump announced Thursday night his intention to appoint a new round of 10 federal judges, the sixth group of judicial nominees since he took office, and five more federal prosecutors.

The president is tapping attorney Michael B. Brennan of Wisconsin to serve on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, a seat that has been vacant since 2010, longest in the appellate system. Mr. Brennan served for nine years as a judge on the Milwaukee County Circuit Court.

Mr. Trump also is nominating attorney L. Steven Grasz of Nebraska to serve on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Mr. Grasz spent more than eleven years as Nebraska’s chief deputy attorney general.

The other judicial nominees are attorney Donald C. Coggins, Jr., for the District Court of South Carolina; Louisiana state Judge Terry A. Doughty to serve on the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana; attorney Michael J. Juneau of Louisiana to serve as a district judge on the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana; attorney A. Marvin Quattlebaum, Jr., for the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina; Assistant U.S. Attorney Holly Lou Teeter of Kansas for the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas; federal magistrate Judge Robert E. Wier of Kentucky for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky; attorney Elizabeth Ann Copeland of Texas to serve as a judge on the U.S. Tax Court; and Justice Department attorney Patrick J. Urda of Indiana for the U.S. Tax Court.

Trump moves up vacation departure time
http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/345352-trump-to-start-vacation

President Trump left Washington on Friday for his first extended vacation in office, starting a 17-day trip to his resort property in New Jersey.

Trump departed the White House shortly before 4 p.m. aboard Marine One, which he flew to Joint Base Andrews outside Washington to board Air Force One.

His departure follows the House and Senate adjourning for the majority of August in a move that leaves Washington largely quiet for the month.

Congress went into recess after the Senate failed last month to pass a repeal and replace of ObamaCare.

Legislators were planning on staying for August recess if the bill passed the Senate, and senators remained in town an extra week, confirming numerous nominations and passing several bills unrelated to healthcare.

Senators banded together on Thursday to block the president from making recess appointments during the August break, a move that required the consent of every member of the upper chamber.

Trump broke with norms by not holding a press conference Friday before leaving, a practice former President Obama typically followed before leaving for vacations in Martha's Vineyard or Hawaii.

Despite this being Trump's first full vacation in office, NBC News reports he's spent 58 of his first 195 days in office at his various properties, including his Bedminster club and his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.

http://www.npr.org/2017/08/04/541581245/trump-heads-to-his-new-jersey-golf-club-for-17-day-working-vacation

In August, those who can flee D.C.'s swamplike heat and humidity in search of a cool breeze. This summer, that number includes President Trump. He's spending the next 17 days at his golf club in Bedminster, N.J. — not a wilderness, for sure, but likely a degree or two cooler and less humid than the capital city, even if it's not far from the Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge.

The White House insists this will be a working vacation; the presidential getaway is necessitated, in fact, by plans to rehabilitate the West Wing's heating and air conditioning this month. "The president is going to continue to work," deputy press secretary Lindsay Walters told reporters aboard Air Force One on Thursday night. "The staff and the president are moving out, because I don't think any of you would like to be in the West Wing in an August D.C. summer day when it's over 100 degrees with no air conditioning," Walters said.

If that sounds a bit defensive, well, it was Trump who insisted that Congress put off taking its vacation until lawmakers passed a new health care measure, and it was Trump who frequently criticized President Barack Obama for taking time off, tweeting back in August 2011 "@BarackObama played golf yesterday. Now he heads to a 10 day vacation in Martha's Vineyard. Nice work ethic."

They don't realize that there has been a single positive thus far, that's the kicker. Why? See your own post Where is all their information coming from? Eliminate the positive, ram the negative down their throats day and night. This is what you get. People that don't even realize that any other possibility exists.

Except for the Wasserman Shultz scandal, the Clinton scandal, the Susan Rice unmasking, Loretta Lynch obstruction of justice....those are off limits.

None who voted for Obama can criticize any President taking a vacation. Especially after all of the work that's been done.

Dow chalks up eighth record close in a row

The Dow Jones Industrial Average ended at its eighth straight record high on Friday, with gains in JPMorgan Chase and other banks after data showed U.S. employers hired more workers than expected in July.

The strong jobs report is likely to clear the way for the Federal Reserve to announce a plan to start shrinking its $4.2 trillion bond portfolio in September, and could strengthen its case to raise rates for the third time this year in December.

The Labor Department report showed nonfarm payrolls increased by 209,000 jobs last month, above the 183,000 rise expected by economists polled by Reuters.

"It's stability. That's what the markets love. This still indicates that the expansion is on. That should provide some comfort," said Bodhi Ganguli, lead economist at Dun & Bradstreet in Short Hills, New Jersey.

With banks standing to benefit from higher interest rates, the S&P financial index .SPSY rose 0.72 percent. Goldman Sachs (GS.N) rose 2.59 percent and was the top contributor to the Dow's gain for the day.

It's sad how spineless Trump supporters are. Here is a very concrete case where Trump spent the entire campaign bitching and moaning about Obama's golfing and vacation time. Then the ****** gets elected, and goes golfing 20x times as often as Obama and you're not man enough to call him out on it. This teeny tiny thing, not even this warrants any type of admission of fault or criticism from you.

Again, tells you everything you need to know what utter hypocrites Trump and his supporters are. Blows my mind really, but it shouldn't, I know.

Ha Ha - suck it bitter losers

WINNING!!!

Michigan Democratic senators cave to Trump on powerful judicial appointment

Senators Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) and Gary Peters (D-MI) capitulated to Donald Trump’s effort to place a conservative former clerk to Justice Antonin Scalia on a powerful court of appeals.

They have now reportedly given up their resistance.

White House set for renovations

President Trump and White House staff are set to clear out of the West Wing for several weeks for some much-needed repairs to the building.

Work has already begun on White House grounds to replace the 27-year-old heating and cooling system, the second stage of a renovation that started under the Obama administration.

The work, coinciding with President Trump's planned vacation to Bedminster, New Jersey, will push White House staff into the Eisenhower Executive Office Building due to lack of air conditioning.

In addition to the HVAC system, the South Portico steps are also being redone for the first time since 1953.

I guess with football season arriving, they find themselves at odds with themselves or something. I wonder if the opposition were to ignore them, would they continue to dance naked with each other or would they git back under their beds ?

Good for them! Unions are worthless. They served their purpose back in the day, but now they are just a crutch for the lazy. I love U.S. Steel, because they are my biggest customer, but the Steelworkers Union is crippling them. Nucor Steel got it right. No unions at all. They treat their employees great. They are incentive based and they share in profits when they meet their production goals. The harder/better they work, the more they are paid. It's the exact opposite culture of the do nothing union "screw the company" *****. The mill guys work 4 x 10 hour days and get 3 days off. It's a good gig.

Unions are just flat out horrible. How about instead of fighting your employer you be thankful that they pay you and do your job with the company's best interest in mind? Save your union dues and take your family on a vacation once in a while instead of bitching that you don't have any money. I will never forget a trial I ran at Weirton Steel. I needed to tighten a hose clamp on a pump. They wouldn't let me use a screwdriver. I had to wait 2 hours for union maintenance to show up. Directly behind that steel mill was a hole in the wall bar. I saw workers, on the clock, leave and go to that bar for at least an hour, come back to clock out and go home. No one will ever convince me that unions are a positive thing. They are counter-productive and bad for business, like all liberal policies.

This might just be up there among my favorite MAGA moments in all of these pages. Liberals can't win elections and they can't keep their propaganda doors open. Americans are speaking with their votes and their wallets. Next up, CNN! Hold these outlets accountable.

Salon struggling to pay its rent

Salon, the struggling digital publisher, is having trouble paying its rent.

A landlord who late last year evicted Salon from its New York offices for nonpayment of $90,000 in back rent is now trying to force the digital publisher to pay more than $700,000 for the unused portion of a five-year lease that is slated to run through September 2019.

Salon had been paying over $300,000 a year to Vbgo Penn Plaza for offices at 31 Penn Plaza, near Madison Square Garden.

By the fall of 2016, according to a suit filed recently in Manhattan state court, Salon had already fallen behind in its rent covering the period from July 2016 to Sept. 30, to the tune of $90,565. Vbgo said it evicted Salon in December and now is trying to get the struggling Web media company to pay up for the rest of the lease.

Salon, which has since set up New York offices elsewhere in Manhattan, declined to comment.

You may want to up the dosage, things seem to be spiraling out of control in your head. Well, that's pretty standard, so I guess just carry on.

I don't do drugs Tibtard. I grew up during Nancy Reagan's "Just Say No" campaign and it actually worked. I could drink three of you under the table though.
