From one cult to another then. Your selective outrage just needed to make an appearance today, didn't it Tibsie?

B. Hussein Obama depicted as Black Jesus

5bb7bffd3c000032000da46e.jpeg

The painting by New York-based artist by Michael D’Antuono is titled “The Truth” and features Obama with a crown of thorns on his head, in a position that is reminiscent of the crucifixion. The painting was “meant to be displayed as an art installation in New York’s Union Square Park on President Obama’s 100th day in office,”

But of course, Obama wasn't cult like. Nah...I mean, there were only BOOKS WRITTEN ABOUT IT. Admit it Tibsie, you're just mad that his cult sucked and you were a member.

Hell, even CNN and WashPO wrote about Obama's Cult:
https://www.mediamatters.org/washington-post/cnn-repeats-smear-obama-supporters-creepy-and-cult

CNN's Carol Costello said that audience response at a Barack Obama rally is “a scene some increasingly find not inspirational, but 'creepy,' ” quoting columnists who have likened Obama supporters to members of a cult or described their enthusiasm as “creepy.” On-screen text during Costello's report read: “OBAMA-MANIA BACKLASH” and “PASSION 'CULT-LIKE' TO SOME.” Washington Post columnist Charles Krauthammer similarly cited other writers to make the same assertion: “ABC's Jake Tapper notes the 'Helter-Skelter cult-ish qualities' of 'Obama worshipers,' what Joel Stein of the Los Angeles Times calls 'the Cult of Obama.' ”

But Tibs was never part of that worshiping crowd, TSF. He did not simply ignore the fact that Obama killed American citizens overseas with drone strikes and no trial. Oh, wait.

But he did not simply blow off the worst recovery in the last 175 years, with a plethora of low-paying part-time jobs in place of real jobs, and the crushing decline of manufacturing jobs in the United States. Hold on.

Well, he did not ignore the gross abuse of power in running guns to Mexican drug cartels, and using the FISA court to spy on an opposing campaign, or use his DOJ to give a career felon caught in a blatant felony, Hillary, a pass. Okay, give me a second here.

He did not ignore using the IRS to target political enemies, with zero repercussions when caught, apart from a promotion for the puppet following Bammy's direction. Goddammit, give me another crack.

He did not approve of Bammy's VP using his power to make his idiot son a millionaire through deals with China and Ukraine, two locations that his VP "was in charge of." DAMN IT!! Give me another chance, and this time it sticks.

Tibs never approved of an open border policy which funneled billions of dollars of highly dangerous opiods across our Southern border, leading to the death of more Americans than were killed in Vietnam. Hell no, he would never stand for that!! Can't seem to find a single criticism, but still looking, *****!

Okay, Tibs did not sit by ogling the Great and Powerful Bammy while he watched our manufacturing get shipped to China and Mexico. No, damn it, he stood up and said, "Enough!"

Yeah, he sat by and/or approved all of the foregoing. But ******* Trump supporters? Oh, it's on. Bunch of cult members, all 63 million.

4 more years!

NASCAR star Hailie Deegan poses with Trump at Daytona 500

When 18-year-old NASCAR star Hailie Deegan heard that President Donald Trump was going to attend the Daytona 500, she went on a quest to get Trump to sign her helmet. It was a quest that only the president’s son could facilitate.

Ahead of the big race, Deegan jumped to Twitter to let fans know that she was in the hunt for the president’s autograph. Hailie Deegan

✔ @HailieDeegan Today’s goal. Get my helmet signed by Trump https://twitter.com/realdonaldtrump/status/1228810073171951621 … Donald J. Trump ✔ @realDonaldTrump Remember, will be at Daytona 500 tomorrow!

Amusingly, Don Trump, Jr., saw the tweet and made one of his own:

Donald Trump Jr. ✔ @DonaldJTrumpJr DM me... I may know someone. https://twitter.com/hailiedeegan/status/1229034203335086080 … Hailie Deegan ✔ @HailieDeegan Today’s goal. Get my helmet signed by Trump https://twitter.com/realdonaldtrump/status/1228810073171951621

Sure enough, on Sunday, Don Trump, Jr., proved he is a man of his word and posted a photo of Deegan happily displaying her signed helmet.

“Promises Made… Promises Kept! Great to meet you [Hailie Deegan],” Trump, Jr., posted.

Deegan was not scheduled to race on Sunday, but she has become a rising star in the racing circuit, having made her debut this month, finishing second to Michael Self in the Feb. 8 ARCA Series

Anonymous is about to go the way of Vindman....Bye Bye

White House trade adviser Peter Navarro is after 'Anonymous'

Peter Navarro is hunting for the mysterious Trump administration official behind the anonymous tell-all book and critical New York Times opinion piece about the White House.

The White House trade adviser initiated his own unofficial investigation to root out "Anonymous" alongside several others, according to the Daily Beast. White House counsel Pat Cipollone is leading the administration’s official investigation to comb through the ranks of officials to identify the author. A group of National Security Council staffers is also conducting a search.

Navarro has compiled writing samples from a number of officials in the administration and had the samples compared to Anonymous’s column and book, focusing on how the author constructs sentences and uses certain phrases. Sources familiar with Navarro’s investigation said he has identified one suspect and delivered his findings in a report given to Cipollone.

Anonymous is known only as a senior Trump administration official who wrote a critical September 2018 New York Times column, as well as a book titled A Warning.

Both works are critical of the Trump administration and talk of a “resistance” inside the administration working to thwart President Trump.

The identity of Anonymous has eluded reporters and government officials since the New York Times opinion piece appeared. Trump has used the article to bolster allegations that some in his administration, including Obama holdovers, are working against his agenda.

Last week, former U.S. Attorney Joe diGenova, a lawyer whose work has been caught up in the Ukraine-impeachment controversy, said he and his wife, Victoria Toensing, were told by "a senior government official" that "Anonymous" had been identified as an official working in the White House and would be removed "soon."

In recent weeks, Trump has taken action to remove multiple officials from his orbit who have been critical of him. Trump stripped Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman of his National Security Council role and recalled U.S. Ambassador Gordon Sondland from his post at the European Union after both officials testified against Trump in the House Democrats' impeachment investigation.

Politico: Trump Primary Turnout Bad News for Dems

GetFile.aspx

Look out Democratic presidential hopefuls, President Donald Trump's crowd sizes and primary voter turnout – in an uncontested GOP race – are a huge "warning sign," Politico reported Sunday.

"Impeachment has lit a fire under the Trump base — and I anticipate it will burn until Election Day in November," ex-Sen. Norm Coleman, R-Minn., chairman of the pro-Trump Republican Jewish Coalition, told Politico. "Voter intensity is a key element in electoral success."

Trump's turnouts in Iowa and New Hampshire smashed his predecessors, including earning 129,696 votes in the New Hampshire primary, more than doubling the re-election years of former Presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush, according to the report.

"There is a personal vote for Donald Trump that is unshakable," pollster John Couvillon told Politico. "Republican voters are willing to go out."

And, notably, this is without a true challenge in his primary, where only former Massachusetts GOP Gov. Bill Weld remains. Trump's appealing to his conservative base is "George W. Bush strategy on steroids," Democratic strategist Jeff Link told Politico.

"This is the problem that every party finds itself in when it's running against an incumbent president," former Bush aide Scott Jennings told Politico. "Trump is going to be difficult to beat, just like Obama was difficult to beat and just like Bush was difficult to beat."

Don't worry, according to Tibs, those people at Dayton aren't "real America". Just the bad part he and his candidates want to ignore, call deplorable, and blame for all the bad happening in the world.

Yep. He believes what CNN and the Washington elitists believe....that they represent real America, that real America thinks how they think.

No, MAGA is not a cult. Anyone who says so is out of their mind.

You're out of your mind. Trump does not exemplify a cult leader.

A cult leader only purpose is to indoctrinate by convincing people to accept his set of beliefs.
Trump does not indoctrinate a set of beliefs, he is merely the purveyor of conservative principles, beliefs that we have held dear for decades.

A cult leader produces nothing tangible. Trump does. Hugely.

It's become quite evident that you hate us for liking Trump more than you hate Trump himself. It bothers the **** out you doesn't it? You're a bitter little man.

"There is more than one way to skin a cat says Hillary"

Hillary Clinton was reported signaling her interest in being named vice president on the Democratic ticket. It'd keep the comedy going. Just on the rumor that Joe Biden would select Hillary to be his vice president, already the coroner is getting a head start on the paperwork.

Who got pardoned, who got shorter prison sentences under Trump's clemency spree?
Michael Collins

USA TODAY

WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump granted clemency on Tuesday to 11 people who served prison sentences for crimes in high-profile cases ranging from gambling fraud to tax evasion to drug-related charges.

Trump, who has broad clemency powers granted by the Constitution, granted full pardons – a full legal forgiveness for a crime – to seven people and commuted, or shortened, the sentences of four others.

Some cases involved high-profile figures, such as former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich and former New York Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik. Others, while not initially generating as much prominence, turned into causes célèbres for activists who considered the sentences unduly harsh.

Tuesday's clemency blitz means that he has granted 25 pardons and issued 10 commutations during his presidency.

Here's a closer look at those who received clemency Tuesday:

Pardons

Bernard Kerik
Kerik, the former New York Police Department commissioner who was hailed alongside then-Mayor Rudy Giuliani for the response to the 9/11 attacks, was sentenced to four years in prison after he pleaded guilty to felony charges of tax fraud and lying to White House officials while being interviewed to head the Department of Homeland Security. He served three years in federal prison before he was released in 2013.

Edward DeBartolo Jr.
DeBartolo, a former owner of the San Francisco 49ers, was fined $1 million as part of a gambling fraud case in Louisiana in the late 1990s. DeBartolo testified that he paid then Louisiana Gov. Edwin Edwards $400,000 in exchange for his help in securing a riverboat casino license. DeBartolo pleaded guilty to a charge of failing to report a felony.

Michael Milken
Milken, a rogue financier known as the "junk bond king," pleaded guilty in 1990 to several counts of securities and tax violations. In the announcement of his pardon, the White House described Milken as "one of America's greatest financiers" and credited his work fighting prostate cancer.

Ariel Friedler
Friedler, the founder and chief-executive officer of an Arlington, Va.,-based software company, pleaded guilty in 2014 and served two months in prison for conspiring to hack into the computer systems of two competitors. Friedler’s company, Symplicity Corp., was a government contractor. Fiedler was forced to sell the company as a result of his guilty plea.

Paul Pogue
Pogue, the owner of a Texas construction company, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to three years in prison in 2010 for filing a false federal tax return. Authorities said Pogue underreported his income on his tax returns for three years.

David Safavian
Safavian, former chief of staff of the General Services Administration, was sentenced to a year in prison for lying about his ties to disgraced lobbyist Jack Abramoff. Safavian was convicted in 2009 for obstruction of justice and making false statements to authorities investigating Abramoff’s activities. Prosecutors said Safavian lied to conceal his efforts to help Abramoff in his dealings with the government.

Angela Stanton
Stanton is an author and reality TV star who served time in prison for her part in a stolen car ring. She is an avid Trump supporter, an advocate for criminal justice reform and the goddaughter of Martin Luther King Jr.’s politically conservative niece Alveda King. She has spoken at the 2018 Women for Trump Conference and frequently posts pro-Trump messages on her Twitter account.

Commutations

Rod Blagojevich
The former Illinois governor was serving a 14-year prison sentence on federal charges that he used his powers as governor to extract campaign money and other favors from potential contenders for the Illinois Senate seat left open when Barack Obama became president. Trump had previously asserted that Blagojevich, a Democrat who appeared as a guest on the president’s television program "Celebrity Apprentice," was treated "very, very unfairly."

Tynice Nichole Hall
Hall of Texas served nearly 14 years of an 18-year sentence for allowing her apartment to be used to distribute drugs.

Crystal Munoz
Munoz, of Odessa, Texas, spent the past 12 years in prison after she was convicted for her role in a marijuana smuggling ring. Munoz admitted to drawing a map for a friend that showed checkpoints along the border of Mexico. Munoz said she didn’t realize the map would be used for drug smuggling, but she was sentenced to 18 years in prison.

Judith Negron
Negron, the owner of a Miami-area mental health company, was sentenced in 2011 to 35 years in prison for orchestrating a $205 million Medicare fraud scheme. She has served eight years of her sentence.

I found it humorous that the local CBS affiliate last night was promoting their news cast with "Trump supporters AND protesters are camping out awaiting the President's rally."

When the news finally aired last night, they did show Trump's supporters lined up for blocks, but not a single protester to be seen. Only proves the narrative the station wanted to convey, because if there actually were protesters there, they would have focused on them.

I trust the news as much as I trust Indy's advice on long-lasting marriage.
