Who said it was construction failure? Maybe dumping thousands of gallons of hydrogen peroxide into the pool to get rid of the algae was a stupid ******* idea. Or maybe driving Trumps motorcade over it was a stupid ******* idea.
It makes sense to you that they have surveillance of people momentarily dipping their hands into the pool, but not of someone taking the time to cut a 250 foot section of what Trump called an indestructible liner? It was a rushed no bid job that a motorcade was driven over. At this point there is no evidence someone cut a 300 foot section of liner. They only have videos of people dipping their hand into the water. The stuff that was put in the pool is truck bed liner, and trump himself said it can't be cut with a knife. My gpap had the spray truck liner and that stuff is durable We hauled hay, scrap, various types of fence panels / posts, etc etc and other than some scratches there is no way you could just cut and peel it off. The liner simply did not adhere to the concrete properly. It has been reported that the original company who renovated the pool turned down Trumps request because it was simply not possible in the time frame Trump wanted.
