The news media does cover Fake News, since they keep reporting everything Trump says. Fake Newser In-Chief.

Acosta is a miserable little ****.
And they say libs are unhinged. Trump has worked relentlessly turning Americans against each other. He will get everything that's coming to him, much deserved.

The great American jobs machine stamped out 219,000 private payroll jobs in July, according to a private survey conducted by Moody’s Analytics and payroll processor ADP.
This suggests that the economy continues to expand and that employers were able to find workers despite very low unemployment. Economists had expected just 185,000 new jobs.

“The Job market is booming, impacted by the deficit-financed tax cuts and increases in government spending,” said Moody’s Analytics chief economist Mark Zandi.

What about those tariffs that so many complained were putting the Trump boom at risk?
“Tariffs have yet to materially impact jobs, but the multinational companies shed jobs last month, signaling the threat,” Zandi said.

In other words, the tariffs have alleviated the tightness of the labor market by shifting jobs to domestic employers from global corporations.

Hiring was strongest at medium sized businesses, which added 119,000 jobs. Larger businesses grew jobs by 48,000. Small businesses, employing less than 50 people, hired 52,000.

Manufacturing, education, health care , hotels, and restaurants led the July hiring boom. Manufacturing added 23,000 jobs and construction 17,000.

I love it when Trump cultists resort to bolding their posts, screaming for attention. Unhinged is not a strong enough word for it.

That tweet is ******* laughable. Jim Acosta talking about Trump and conservative media whipping up hostility that's gonna get somebody hurt. Then to talk about how you should treat fellow Americans. That's rich, I'll say.

Then he says the press is not the enemy. Try objectivity Jim. Best way to convince people you aren't choosing sides. Dude is a clown.

Tibs take "the press is not the enemy" steelin take "if so, why all of the lies?"

You realize of course, that the media and the press in the US are not 'Free', right? They're all corporate owned, and subject to the whims of their respective corporations.
Each side, right or left, have their outlets, and are skilled at steering the narrative to support their side and demonize their opponents.

And you wonder why the country is so divided. Everyone wants to believe their "side" is the "correct side" - so they work to discredit the views from the other "side".

Tibs, I don't think Trump started the division and I don't think Obama started it. It's been going on forever but with social media being rampant I think the volume is just a lot louder than it used to be. One huge division during the Obama years was when that administration was at odds with just about every police department in the nation. It seemed to me that they were trying to get cops killed and create true anarchy. It's all in how you perceive things I guess. Now pardon me while I go back and turn on the Andy Griffith Show. :)

The Union Brass can’t force the rank-and-file to vote the way they want them to vote!

Dems lose the Unions!

hahahahahaha

AFL-CIO's Trumka Won't Rule Out Unions Endorsing Trump in 2020

AFL-CIO President Rich Trumka on Wednesday refused to rule out his union endorsing President Donald Trump for re-election in 2020.

“Well, he will be looked at [for the labor endorsement],” Trumka told Newsmax, “Everyone [of the presidential candidates] will be looked at.”

Pressed as to how serious he was about the AFL-CIO considering not endorsing the Democratic nominee for president for the first time since 1972, Trumka insisted “we will consider every candidate who’s running in 2020.”

Recalling the last presidential race, the union chief pointed out that “Trump got 3 percent more of our members than [Republican nominee Mitt] Romney did in 2012, but Hillary Clinton, unfortunately for her, got 10 percent less of our members than Obama did in 2012. And some didn’t vote for President or some voted third party.”

Trump gained among union members, Trumka felt, “because people were mad. They were looking for someone who was going to change the economy. They felt there were assaults on their health care and assaults on their pensions. People were looking for someone who will shake up the status quo, because the economy wasn’t working for them. Their wages were flattened and they found that candidate in Donald Trump.”

Democrats want open borders and want illegal aliens to vote

A majority of Democrat voters now say that the 12 million illegal aliens currently residing in the United States should be given the right to vote. In a new poll by Rasmussen Reports, a majority of 54 percent of Democrats said illegal aliens in the U.S. should be given the right to vote so long as they pay taxes. Illegal aliens paying taxes ensures the identity theft of Americans.

Likewise, 53 percent of self-described liberal voters said they too support giving the 12 million illegal aliens in the U.S. the right to vote.

While the majority of Democrats support illegal aliens having the right to vote, the plan is very unpopular with American voters overall. Nearly 60 percent of voters said illegal aliens should not be given voting rights.

The city of San Francisco will now allow non-citizens to vote in the area’s regional school board elections. Cities like Chicago, Illinois, and Cambridge, Massachusets also allow non-citizens to vote in regional elections.

Giving the illegal alien population the right to vote would almost ensure Democrat dominance in statewide and national elections, as foreign populations are vastly more likely to favor Democrats over Republicans.

President Trump gives his salary to repair US military cemeteries, liberal media ignores story

White House sent their spending report to Congress. This was in it:

“Instead of taking his salary, Trump donated all $400,000 to the Department of the Interior where it will be used for construction and repair needs at military cemeteries”

Media gave this no coverage.

Massachusetts woman enraged by Trump bumper sticker intentionally rammed into car, police say

A Massachusetts woman was reportedly taken into custody on Monday after she allegedly drove into a car sporting a Trump bumper sticker.

The arrest of Chloe Wright, 25, followed an alleged hit-and-run in Hyannis on June 30, the Cape Cod Times reported, citing a police report.

After the incident, the man she hit reportedly contacted the Barnstable Police Department and recalled hearing a motorist behind him honking their car horn as he waited at a red light.

According to the police report, the honking continued and by the time he reached another red light, the motorist started shouting at him, the Times reported.

Congress sends $708 billion defense budget to President Trump

The U.S. Senate on Wednesday passed a $708 billion defense budget, approving a larger military including three Arleigh Burke-class destroyers for which Bath Iron Works will compete.

The fiscal year 2019 National Defense Authorization Act, named for ailing Sen. John S. McCain, passed in the House of Representatives last week. The bill now requires the signature of President Donald Trump to become law.

Both U.S. Sens. Susan Collins, R-Maine, and Angus King, I-Maine, voted in favor of the budget.

The budget deal includes more than a 15 percent increase over 2017. It also includes the largest pay increase for service members in nearly a decade, according to a release from Collins, and legislation by Collins to strengthen NATO cyber defense.

There is no threat to freedom of the press because there is nothing that prohibits them saying and writing about whatever they want (other than standard journalism rules).

Freedom of the press does not mean freedom from criticism or freedom of consumers to pick and choose what credibility they give the press. Those things are EARNED by being good journalists and contributing to society. Something the press seems to have lacked and forgotten over the last 10-20 years in their quest for ratings and profit. They have no one but themselves to blame for their lack of credibility.

The corrulation between the fall of our mainstream media and the fall of ESPN is almost eerily similar. I gave up on ESPN about 10 years ago. It got to be too much. Too much of all of the bullshit and not enough substance. Too much "personality" and anchors/opinionists/experts tooting their own horns and creating their own "brands". The news is NOT about who reads the teleprompters and until this group of arrogant pricks realize that, they will continue to follow the path of ESPN, who no real sports fan even gives a **** about anymore.
