Exclusive — Devin Nunes to Sue CNN, Daily Beast over Fake News Attacks

House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence ranking member Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) intends to file lawsuits against both CNN and the Daily Beast over fake hit pieces the outlets have published about him in recent days, Breitbart News has learned exclusively.

Two pieces recently published in both outlets–one from Daily Beast earlier this week, and one from CNN published late Friday–alleged that the Rudy Giuliani associate Lev Parnas, who is now indicted on unrelated charges, helped Nunes with a variety of matters when digging into Ukrainian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election on behalf of Democrats....

I don't think politicians can sue the news media. Trump could have sued multiple times. The media can virtually say anything they want against a politician.

Don't let my participation on the board or the frequency of my posts serve as your barometer of what I think and know regarding Trump's treasonous and corrupt actions and the multitude of charges levied against him. Ask yourself instead, why you and Trump and the GOP are so content to carry the Russian's water? Republicans under Trump have completely sold their souls and in turn, have sold out the country. China is 10 times the threat. Socialism in Europe is 10 times the threat (because they are going backrupt). Islamic extremism is 10 times the threat. Corruption in former USSR eastern block countries.

All bigger threats than Russia and their games with hacking. China is actually much better at hacking, much better at cyberwarfare and actually targets things that matter (and it's NOT Facebook).

del none of that makes it ok for your beloved Trump to commit bribery while trying to shake down an ally for his personal, political gain. None of that makes it ok for Trump to lie incessantly to the American people. None of that makes it ok for Trump to run the US government like a mob boss.

Your heart seems to be in the right place, as far as wanting the best for America. The problem is, it has also significantly clouded your judgement, your sense of right and wrong. It seems for Trump supporters there are no limits as far as the ends justifying the means. Anything goes. Trump can literally get away with murder, just like he said during the campaign. He could shoot someone in broad daylight on Fifth Avenue and none of his supporters would care one iota. In my book, that is called madness.

The latest Emerson College poll is out. The Democratic impeachment witch hunt is officially a huge failure that has blown up in the Democrats' faces. Overall, 45% oppose impeachment versus 43% who support impeachment. That's a 6-point swing -- in President Donald Trump's favor -- since impeachment hearings began. Quite amazing.


But much more importantly, independents (the only voters who really matter at this point -- everyone else has made up their mind) overwhelmingly oppose impeachment. Forty-nine percent oppose impeachment versus 34% who support it. That's not just a landslide 15-point margin in favor of Trump. It's a 24-point swing in Trump's direction since the hearings started. That's what you call a disaster for Democrats.


The same Emerson poll found Trump's job approval up to 48%. That's a 5-point jump since October. Trump is more popular since the impeachment witch hunt/hearings began.
And don't forget, Emerson poll results are based on "registered voters," not the "likely voters," who are far more friendly to Trump.


But I'm going to switch gears. Smart minds understand impeachment is dead. Trump won. To paraphrase the late O.J. Simpson attorney Johnnie Cochran, "If the glove doesn't fit, the Senate will acquit."


Trump is sitting pretty. Now he needs to make one simple announcement to guarantee reelection by an electoral landslide. He needs to announce a massive middle-class tax cut.
All Democrats offer to voters are bribes, bribes and more bribes: free health care, free college, free child care, free everything. Democratic candidates are now even offering free health care and full welfare benefits to illegal aliens. It's all about votes. Offer free money and free bribes and voters will come. Why not? Who doesn't like something "free"?


To compete, Republicans have to play the same game. Consider two ice cream trucks parked at the same intersection. One offers free ice cream. The other offers ice cream for $5 a pop. Who will attract the bigger crowd? That's not hard to figure out.


How does Trump compete with free everything? President Trump needs to announce a gigantic middle-class personal income tax cut to start his second term.


Trump already saved the U.S. economy once with his corporate tax cut. That led to record-setting corporate profits, a record-setting stock market (which is great for anyone with an individual retirement account or a pension) and millions of new jobs, raises and bonuses.


Trump's first tax cut also lowered individual rates just a bit. Nothing wrong with that. Almost every American taxpayer got to keep a little more money.

Sen. Lindsey Graham sent official requests to the State Department for documents pertaining to Burisma and its board member Hunter Biden. Later, Sen. Ted Cruz sent out a release promising things are going to go a lot farther than documents.

“I think any proceeding in the Senate should be fair, should be open, and should respect due process. What does that mean? That means allowing both sides to present their case and if the White House chooses to call as a witness Hunter Biden, if the White House chooses to call as a witness the whistleblower, I think they should be allowed to call them. I think – both of those witnesses in particular may well be integral to the White House’s defense,” Cruz said.

The real problems with our governance are soon to be exposed. If the senate attempts to exact a pound of flesh on ANY Trump initiatives, and even if they attempt to give credence to the peach pie, they show their hand. Senate is in a predicament. And if they try to sweep it under the rug, President Donald J. Trump can open Pandora’s Box on all of them. Mitch thinks he holds the cards, he’s ****** too. Tread lightly senate. We have the truth on our side.
