He had to, I said "you can't be this obtuse" not that long ago to him. Probably had it favorited so he could use it as his own, original content.Surprised you had to look this up

So, how is the offense dull-witted or difficult to understand? It's neither.
- annoyingly slow to understand; dull-witted:
"he wondered if the doctor was being deliberately obtuse" · "blame lies at the feet of obtuse senior leaders"
Similar:
stupid
dull
slow-witted

- difficult to understand; unclear:
"some of the lyrics are a bit obtuse"
Running Najeh on toss sweeps, WR screens with no lead blockers, throwing bombs on 3rd and 1 or 2...that's not difficult to understand or dull-witted? This offense has been abysmal going back to Randy Sphincter. So, how is the offense dull-witted or difficult to understand? It's neither.
For the season total, with Matt Canada. I was talking specifically of the 270-ish yards with HC Tomlin and Canada to over 400 yards of offense without Canada and with Mike Tomlin STILL head coach. But you blame shades eh? Nah.The Steelers were 24th in offense, let's hold up on any celebrating on offensive prowess
just yet.https://www.foxsports.com/articles/nfl/2024-nfl-offense-rankings-team-pass-and-rush-stats
The argument isn't that the offense is elementary or bad, just the word "obtuse" doesn't really fit...abysmal is a much better fit.Running Najeh on toss sweeps, WR screens with no lead blockers, throwing bombs on 3rd and 1 or 2...that's not difficult to understand or dull-witted? Who decided to stick with Canada for 3 years? For the season total, with Matt Canada. I was talking specifically of the 270-ish yards with HC Tomlin and Canada to over 400 yards of offense without Canada and with Mike Tomlin STILL head coach. But you blame shades eh? Nah.
I can come up with a bunch of adjectives for this offense...obtuse would definitely be one of them. The argument isn't that the offense is elementary or bad, just the word "obtuse" doesn't really fit...abysmal is a much better fit.

exactly, thank you. If he would have said "Coach Dumblin is obtuse for designing this offense..." okay. sure.Dull witted, or obtuse is what would describe the play designer.
Obtuse is always used to describe a person or a group of individuals, not a concept or a system.
Lloyd was referring to a system, not a group of individuals.
Surely the offense isn’t comprised of dull witted individuals.
So could I…dysfunctional, broken, flawed, unworkable, ill-conceived …but obtuse definitely would not be one of them.I can come up with a bunch of adjectives for this offense...obtuse would definitely be one of them.
Only until he was putting that precious non-losing seasons streak in jeopardy.Who decided to stick with Canada for 3 years?
Well he had to, Canada recruited Mike's son to College.Who decided to stick with Canada for 3 years?

ARE YOU SERIOUSLY pimping ONE game as proof to Clown-in's potency on offense? Seriously? Is that what you're contending? For the season total, with Matt Canada. No. I'm contrasting a Matt Canada lead offense against the browns and a non-Matt Canada offense against the bungles in back to back weeks to show just how inept Canada was. You can't say it's all Mike's fault unless you want to account for hiring him in the first place but that hasn't been your point. You want this ALL on Mike because you loathe him and fault him for everything to the point that you're a running joke on the board.ARE YOU SERIOUSLY pimping ONE game as proof to Clown-in's potency on offense? Got it, Clown-lin's offense is great bc of one game, no matter that he folded like a cheap folding chair the rest of the season, including the playoffs. He put up what? 14 points? Tremendous there, Clown-lin.No. I'm contrasting a Matt Canada lead offense against the browns and a non-Matt Canada offense against the bungles in back to back weeks to show just how inept Canada was.
