Don't be bagging on Ben when this is clearly Trump's fault.I blame Ben
We were extremely active in the FA market. Very unlike us. What did all that do? Anyone want to research the results of these guys?
I won't.
Nonsense. TJ Watt and Cam Heyward are not the cause of the current state of affairs, Devin Bush is. It has nothing to do with draft position.
Jack has been good. the line is getting noticeably better, when used right. Kazee may help when healthy and Wallace has been decent. We got better. The only real bust has been Gunner. We were extremely active in the FA market. Very unlike us. What did all that do? Anyone want to research the results of these guys?

You really aught to be PISSED.At some point you have to hit the bottom to get back to the top. Endless drafts in the bottom half make it hard, not impossible, but hard to keep up. We have done better than most with low picks but we need to restock.
You forgot Canada.Jack has been good. the line is getting noticeably better, when used right. Kazee may help when healthy and Wallace has been decent. We got better. The only real bust has been Gunner.
Why am I supposed to be pissed? Najee has not made the most it. He has been unable to hit some gaping holes. He should be sitting getting healthy. The rest is great. We just need a real OC. Not sure I get your point. You really aught to be PISSED.
1. Looks like the Pickett kid is the real deal.
2. Muth has been an utterly dependable & open safety-valve.
3. Najee has made the most an athlete can of having no running room.
4. And Pickens shows every flash of being a lethal threat.
It's not like the OL this year is as bad as it was last.
What the f*ck more do you need? Some Coaches need to pack their bags soon if they will not change. This is some ridiculous ****.
Wow, what a ridiculous statement. The only time Tomlin achieved anything, it was mostly with somebody else's players. The last five years, he's done nothing except get embarrassed three times in the playoffs. How 'bout this year? Tomlin is still overachieving, in your eyes?I still believe our talent levels haven't been as high as Yinzers want to believe and that we have done more than we should with the talent we have had not less. How many guys have left and gone on to do better than they did here? Not many. Maybe we put too much stock in our talent and discount the idea that maybe just maybe Tomlin has been an over achiever not an under achiever.
Actually, the 2020 Steelers had a preseason over/under win total of 9.5, and had the 11th highest odds to win the Super Bowl. So they were expected to be a playoff team.Maybe another coach wouldn't have had the chance to lose those playoff games as they wouldn't have been on the playoffs at all. We certainly were not supposed to make them the last couple of years based on the pundits.
Yeah, it's always the fault of his "core" of coaches. Couldn't be his. Who's in charge of hiring that corps?I do believe some coaches need to go and that Mike needs to put more trust in the ones he keeps to run things without his finger on the scale. I don't want want Tomlin fired, I like our legacy of not firing head coaches but I would be ok if he decided to retire soon. I would also be fine with him staying if he gets a better core of coaches. He made a good move with Flores so it is a hopeful start.
Not as long as Tomlin is here. He's had 16 years to build "his" team and staff and this is what we have.I live in my fears.
Can this season be salvaged............ YES but it will take more than the team / coachs' / FO is willing to give.
I just hope they don't embarrass the Franchise any more than already done. Also can we see a reverse trend on the culture amongst the team ?

His ego is too big to ever change anything he does.

1-4 and coming off of their worst loss in 33 years...it must be quite an inglorious time to be a Tomlin nuthugger like you.
Or as his hero might put it:He's incredible, right? Like telling someone on a nice sunny day, "wow, just look at the beautiful blue sky", and they respond with, "actually no, the sky is green"
I just had peppered bacon and scrambled eggs for breakfast. I didnt realize my kid had left early for week so I ate her bacon also. today is going to be a great day.
the old garden is slowing down... still have Butternut squash, pole beans, radishes, carrots, brussells sprouts, most of the tomatoes are done. still alot of things to look forward toI Actually had a Yellow summer squash (fresh from garden, last of the last scraggler before frost) diced into my eggs.
You're right BLITZ, a hell of a day.

I am incredible just ask my wife, thank you for noticing. I firmly stand by my sentiment that we constantly as fans feel our talent is better than it truly is, which is natural. In some cases by a lot. Ridicule me all you want but while Tomlin is fa from perfect I truly believe he is a better coach in some areas than many of yinz think. Particularly in getting the most out of certain players like a Bell or Brown. His biggest fault is his stubbornness. I would be ok with a change if he retires but I don't want to see him fired. I think he has earned the chance to try and do a rebuild if he wants to. We kept Noll around well past his prime years. He's incredible, right?
