At this stage it doesn’t matter who the candidates are, we’ll parse through that down the line.

Trump is burying the Republic and American democracy along with it. The situation has gotten significantly worse since he took office. He is a clear and present danger to the country, who should be impeached and removed from office, according to the impeachment clause in the Constitution. He is doing Putin’s bidding, as he has done from the start. The situation with the Kurds in Syria makes that perfectly clear, if anyone had any doubt about that.

I won’t be posting on this side of the board since there’s little chance to have honest & open discourse on this presidency. The majority of posters here are blinded by Trump due to partisan politics, their deep hatred of democrats and the free press. It may be a form of Stockholm syndrome that keeps many of you locked into his aura of lies & deception. On this board, widely debunked, far right conspiracies are handled as facts. Admittedly I don’t watch much news since the only topic is Donald Trump, but I saw the Syria story this morning and posted it. Did that **** start three days ago? I know he made the announcement on Sunday. Had no idea they had already withdrawn.

Most of us assess situations based on "facts" presented, as opposed to rumors, emotions and accusations.

Stories breaking on day one are editorial like, and it takes a week or so to read through the hype.

They aren’t voting because in spite of what the MSM wants you to believe, impeachment is not super popular among voters. If they vote, it puts vulnerable Democrats in largely Republican districts on record, and that could hurt them come election time. Can’t have that. So just keep the negative stories flowing and hope it pays off.
