Lol Rat fans on 24x7 had some meltdowns after that win... Cinci should have beaten them twice now... add the epic near collapse vs tampa and dallas and the blown 4th quarter leads vs Cleveland and the raiders and its pretty clear their pass D is hot garbage.. then realize that Tucker is having the worse year of his career, and the fans over there are just starting to get they are a one dimensional team which isnt really a great thing once you get to the postseason

Cinci is just ******... 4-6 .. 1-2 in the division.. they have to go 5-2 just to get to 9-8... they play the Chargers then have a bye, then play us... if they get swept by Harbaughs, they are toast before they even play us... if they win... there is a glimmer of hope since they play 3 soft teams after they get us.. so they will be really all in and have 2 weeks of prep..

That was our chaser in Germany. Out on the town a bottle of Jack, and Mad Dog. Slug it down.

Then we would have shots and German beer. Was the typical approach. It is a wonder my liver didn’t stay after I discharged back to state side.

true story

many many years ago, a young college age coolie was in a fraternity at the University of Houston

one of the other frats had an annual fight night. a young and dumb coolie was drafted by his frat brothers to represent them in the boxing ring. ( coolie was 6'3" and ony 210 lbs at the time)

coolie was matched up against an ROTC member who was nicknamed MadDog in a three round contest

in the third and final round, coolie knocks maddog down and he decided he had enough

back at the frat house, coolie was presented with a large bottle of MD20/20 with the comment that I knocked out one maddog tonight lets see if he can knockout another

coolie killed the bottle but it was not a good night after that. the md 20/20 kept fighting and eventually won and gained its freedom
 
Do you know what makes me really sad.... The Ravens secondary is a hot mess of a dumpster fire and will likely be missing its best safety when we play them, but they are good at stopping the run... so we absolutely are gonna come out and try to run the ball on them for a quarter or two because thats what we always do vs them

Perhaps. But Smith isn’t afraid to pass it. There was opportunities under him to snail ball and he passed it at some moments we might think they wouldn’t….

The year was 1991 and Berm has just got done w/ basic training and was in AIT in Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD. Our barracks were not co-ed but we could have females in the common areas.

I was, at that time, in my prime 0% body fat, 6'0 and 187 pounds. Damn, that was a long time ago...LOL

Anyway, someone had the bright idea to go to the PX and pick up a couple of cases of Schlitz Malt Liquor Blue Bull and...a couple bottles of Everclear.

We were all trying to 'fit in' and find our bearings after basic training and it, at the time, seemed like a good idea. Oh, how wrong I was...

Welp, after chugging down 5 Blue Bulls I started taking shots of Everclear - I can't recall how many but let's just say that the highly waxed and buffed floor turned into a swimming pool, in my mind, and I got hot all of a sudden and stripped down to my brown boxers. Wait for it...

"Cannonball!!!" I screamed as I dove into the floor. I could feel the warm water (no it was blood and lots of it) as I swam down the hallway just inches from my room and bunk.

The GI party that took place the next morning was very unpleasant and everyone hated Berm for getting so drunk; meh, I learned never to drink that **** ever again...
 
When I was in my 20's I ended up at a party where we had more zima than beer, and i tried to drink 2 zimas for every one beer, unaware that zimas were more alcoholic than beer...

The hangover the next day was brutal... Zima is on the level with Maddog2020, mickeys, mezcal, and ever Ice Beer ever made in as much as it is no longer on the menu for me🤣

Shame on you Berm,for making me think of the everclear days! At least you have the memory…….I remember waking up one morning thinking hey I don’t feel hungover at all,last night must have went all right. All I could remember was everclear and shots. Then I saw my face in the mirror. From my forehead to my chin it looked like someone had rubbed my face along a splintery shake roof. As the boy’s laughingly filled me in on my drunken escapades….needless to say,I was never invited to that particular person’s party ever again. 🤪

Decades ago, I went to a bachelor party and showed up late afternoon. The groom and his buddies had been drinking Boone’s Farm and were already shitfaced. He was passing out at the bar around 6:30. Total bust of a bachelor party.
