Ravens needed something at pass rush, but I'm not sure it isnt scheme related. They traded Oweh to the Chargers 4 games ago because he had zero pass rush for them.. no sacks all year long.... in 4 games for LA he has 4 sacks.....

The Ravens DC is a Harbaugh pet project... he was a player who got a career ended in 16 and they kept him around as an analyst, then made him a position coach, then last year made him DC

Harbaugh's ego is about on par with Tomlin... he wont admit the guy is over his head for years

So here are some gut level trade predictions

1. The steelers wont trade their first or second round picks. The draft being in Pittsburgh next year means they will want to have impact picks

2. The Steelers wont trade any players away unless:
A.they need the roster spot,
B. Its a player for player trade that helps them in an area of weakness
or
C. They need more draft capital to bring in another player.

They wont just trade Highsmith or Muth for a pick. That could be done at the draft.. both are under contract next year..

Lesser hunches:
1. cutting Beanie Bishop from the PS abd adding a WR may mean in light of the Trice reinjury, they plan to add a CB instead of a WR now... again Arthur Smiths O doesnt utilize WR2 much... they simply may not be as enamored with that position as fans are

2. If they did add a WR, they may be trading a TE, but it could be Smith, not Muth... coming off of a pro bowl season, he has more value and honestly he hasnt been as good here as he was last year. He would fit Green Bay's need and Green bay has WR surplusses...

3. There are some interesting DTs available abd we just lost a vet backup for the year there.. so that could be a late round pick trade..

I'd trade Muth and BOTH 3rd round picks for Marvin Harrison Jr....

Would that get it done with AZ?

Marvin Jr had a better game with Brisset last night.

He should be available only if a team is willing to overpay.

I really wish Pickens was still a Steeler.

My gosh, whatever you are smoking must be great. It would take more than that to pry out MH jr...

He is only 23 years old and in his second year... he has 3 more years of control left on his contract after this... he had almost 900 yards as a rookie... and is on pace around that number again this year...
a rebuilding team doesnt need a win now pass catching te nor a couple of thirds for a first round talent...

I think friermuth has value, but not to them like thst

If this were back in camp, MVS would have a hard time making the team. He definitely should not be the WR2 or even WR3. It should be DK as WR1, Austin as WR2, Roman as WR3, and the rest fighting to see the field. But, we all know Tomlin doesn't always put the best players on the field for whatever reason.

Marvin Jr. would be a great pickup but would cost too much. I’m thinking a first and something else.
Perhaps a player or a mid round pick to go with that first.
I thought maybe a second and a player or another pick but not sure that’s enough.
Man he’d look good in black n’ gold!

I want to know how every year at the deadline how its mathematically possible that all of the Steelers needs somehow are the high value positions that year, and all the ones they have surplusses at are basically devalued

Like most years a pass rusher costs you a mint... and a wr is pretty cheap... and we'd have a surplus of Wrs and need another pass rusher, but this year we have all the edge guys we can handle and a glut of TEs .. but want a Wr... and some how there are all sorts of TEs abd edge guys available and few wrs...

But the ravens somehow are always the opposite

I think Harbaugh has horseshoes up his *** or something

The issue with Waddle and MHjr is that there is no incentive to trading them right now... they may be available, but not at discount... either likely costs upwards of a first... if no one offers then put em back in the box and try again at the draft.

So...

What WR coming out values more than either MHJ or Waddle???

Jeremiah Smith isn't guaranteed to leave tOSU - but he's the only one better or as good right now...

After watching DK drop balls like Diontae--- I'm thinking we need an "on demand" monster at moving the chains. Send them a second and Roman!!!

We addressed our WR need by getting the safety (Dugger) from New England.

apparently y'all are new around here.

rumors --

Shaheed to the Seahawks
Waddle to the Broncos
