I’ve been CCL for a long time now.
In the past, I really never visualized or thought about potential confrontations or situations while carrying. I just had it for a one in 1 million chance that something would happen that I needed to protect myself and or my family. Now every time I’m hoistered up and I’m in public, I am so much more aware and very much cognizant of what I would do in a certain situations, like the one in the video.
It’s really sad that society has come to this, and I have to live this way with the potential of me ever having to discharge my side arm is now higher than ever.
I actually pray that I’m never in that situation, and pray that if I am that the Lord gives me the strength to do the right thing.

That's exactly how I feel. I used to say that the last thing I want to do is shoot at another human being. That is no longer true. The last thing I want to do is be a victim when I could have prevented it. Shooting at someone is now #2 or #3 on the list of things I hope I never have to do. I REALLY never want to shoot at a person. I am ready to if needed. Dear God, don't let me be in that position.

And that's exactly where the powers that be want you - much easier to implement draconian laws in the name of safety when you have a fearful, divided populace.
