One of the default groups they give you is Acquaintances and I put people I don't know that well or interact with very much in that group and my default setting for posts is Friends except Acquaintances.
So basically not everyone sees everything I post, except for Supe, Coryea, and DBS.
It sounds more complicated than it is.

When my brain begins to hurt, I just snooze them for 30 days hoping sanity will return to their way of thinking. It hasn't been successful, but at least I get a break from the nonsense for a month.

It's just not worth it to me. I rarely post political stuff there because there are no ways to guarantee the validity of the links people post to counter my post with their side of the story. It's just lame to me. So, I stick to issues of faith there. It works for me.
