Trump calls for Sanders to 'run as an Independent'

For what might be the first time in this campaign, Republican front-runner Donald Trump shared an opinion that supporters of Senator Bernie Sanders are likely to agree with on Tuesday when he said Sanders has been treated unfairly by Democrats and should run as an independent candidate.

"Bernie Sanders has been treated terribly by the Democrats—both with delegates & otherwise," he said in a tweet. "He should show them, and run as an Independent!"

While he hasn't gone so far as to threaten a third-party run, Sanders doesn't appear prepared to enthusiastically endorse Clinton if she wins the nomination. When asked at an MSNBC town hall on Monday if he would tell his supporters to back Clinton if he's not on the ballot come November, he stopped short.

"We're not a movement where I can snap my fingers and say to you or to anybody else what you should do, that you should all listen to me. You shouldn't. You make these decisions yourself," Sanders replied.

People who point at his failed businesses are fools. Trump has the stones to go for it. He understands if you want to go big, you have to take chances. And not only that, but most of his wealth is all in real estate deals and that turf always has ebbs and flows. It's a reality that no one can escape. As properties prices tend to rise, every so many years, a bubble will pop. And as Trump is always buying more and more land, when the bubble pops, stuff he bought will lose value, so, his outfit takes a hit, and he has to do a re-org, and he does so in a perfectly legal manner. It is no assault on his character that he had this happen 4 times. But he always picks himself up, brushes himself off, and gets back to making billions in time. Yea, his vodka, water, casino....they didn't succeed. But he is worth $10 BILLION, so who give a flying **** at a rolling donut over those things not working out. If I had $10 billion to my name (or $1 billion) I could give two ***** at some of my swings missing.

You can love or hate Trump, but to ridicule him on his filing chapter 11, or other biz moves not succeeding, you look foolish. The guy wins far more than he loses. And he is highly respected in the biz world. You can't be a candy *** and make it in the areas he does. Sure, he cracks some eggs to make omelets once in a while; you have to. The 1st amendment will not permit the United States to "outlaw" Sharia law, which is a religious practice/principal, any more than would it allow Congress to outlaw Shabbat or not eating pork.
