This is beyond disturbing. The simple, undeniable fact is this: The brazen violence shown during this political season - and make no mistake, both "sides" bear blame - needs to be stopped. It really does.

If those who wish to voice their political views in a peaceful fashion can be attacked and assaulted, then the barbarians are no longer at the gate; they are in the living room.

P.S. I get that the recent violent protests involved anti-Trump protesters physically attacking Trump rally attendees, I do. Those thug attackers are contemptible dog excrement. However, I am not going to simply ignore the fact that when a protester at a Trump rally was sucker-punched, Trump said he would "look into" paying the legal bills of the guy who punched the protester.

I hold Trump, Hillary and Bernie all to blame. If any of them had the guts to say, "Knock it off. If you think that you can use violence on those who disagree with you - including 78 year old men and women - then I don't want your vote."

Instead, they revel in the chaos being thrown into the opposition and either directly (Trump) or indirectly (Hillary and Bernie through their tepid protests) approve of this approach.

I never thought I would live in a nation where expressing political views could me punched. I am frankly ashamed of my country at this point.

Four Syrian immigrants are charged after two girls, 14, were sexually assaulted

Four Syria immigrants have been charged after two 14-year-old girls were allegedly sexually assaulted - just yards from Newcastle United's stadium.

Omar Badreddin, 18, Mohammed Alfrouh, 20, and Mohammad Allakkoud, 18, all pleaded not guilty at Newcastle Crown Court on Friday.

A 16-year-old boy has also been charged with sexual assault and will appear at North Tyneside Magistrates on September 29.

At the height of the crisis, the Prime Minister announced plans to resettle 20,000 Syrian refugees in Britain at a cost of more than half a billion pounds.

Mr Badreddin and his family were deemed to be vulnerable by the UN refugee agency and were given new homes in Britain.

I believe the same. In fact, I've said this very thing to Tibs and SteelVag before. We, as a country, have tried leaving our doors open. It's been abused. Much like you leaving your front door open trusting the neighborhood. Well, after months and months of people walking in and taking your things, you say enough is enough and put locks on the door.

They lock their doors at night. You lock yours. I know I do. We all do.

Why is it wrong to build a wall (a lock on the door) while hanging a "Welcome" sign at the gates that say "Enter here, Welcome to America" through which you an enter and begin the legal immigration process?

Any of you guys been reading the stories about all the contractors, employees, and others your hero has ****** out of their money over the years? Reports say that there have been over 2500 lawsuits, mechanical liens, and other filings made against Trump and his companies, mostly by contractors that never got paid for the work they did. I had to laugh because, having worked for a small,family owned plastering and drywall company for nearly 20 years, I've seen this happen many times. Apparently Trump operates like so many other wealthy developers we've dealt with over the years. Small time contractors don't have the resources to fight a long drawn out court battle when these ******* don't pay in full, and those ******** take full advantage of this. One move they use a lot is a policy they refered to as "retainage", where they hold back 10% until the job is completely finished... but never end up paying it. They also know that if you ever want to work for them again, you sure as hell aren't going to sue them over 10K on a 100K job. Another one is that they simply claim that some of the work contracted was never completed. Sometimes it's thousands of dollars in extras that never gets paid. In a nutshell, there are all sorts of ways these guys know how to **** small time contractors out of their money. I'm sure the Donald knows them all.... I'm sure daddy taught him well. The older I get, the more I'm convinced that you can't get as rich as guys like Trump and his ilk without ******' people along the way.
