Clinton-Trump Race Too Close To Call

Democrat Hillary Clinton has 42 percent to Republican Donald Trump's 40 percent - too close to call - according to a Quinnipiac University National poll released today.

This compares to results of a June 1 national poll by the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN- uh-pe-ack) University, showing Clinton edging Trump 45 - 41 percent.

When third party candidates are added to today's survey, Clinton gets 39 percent with Trump at 37 percent. Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson gets 8 percent and Green Party candidate Jill Stein gets 4 percent

Again... the larger the poll, the better the results for trump, and the more options one gets besides hillary, the worse off she is... the majority of polls are doctored to fit her agenda

Of course she will win. Take whatever poll you want, when you break down the demographics, he can't win. You can't win a national election if you are strongly disliked by blacks, Hispanics, woman and young people. It's not possible. Old white guys cannot carry an election anymore.

I've been saying this for a long time...I've known for awhile he would win the primary, because of the current demographics of the Republican party. I know he will lose the general.

Just like Romney he will lose FL, PA, VA and OH. Just watch.

Really, why did 5 30 8 have to write a piece on why all the polls and predictions were wrong about predicting trump winning the Republican nomination a few short months ago? ....


Look at the demographics of these polls, they do not align with reality... yes hillary has a large black backing, but its far from 91%.... And as for safety and security, she was under 30% in the democratic primaries in that area... i doubt that has suddenly risen.... many of the educated people I know I am still trying to switch to Johnson from Trump... its far easier to get someone from Hillary to Johnston than Trump to Johnston, because people dont really know much about hillary...

Once more the art of polling to reflect the agenda you want has been long standing in this country, but its failed the last few elections... it just failed huge in england, and I believe its failing here in this one massively as well... , Im just hopeful that the same agenda is pushing down the real numbers for Gary and Jill too.... if one or both can reach 15% then they will get in the debate and shred tweedle dee and dumb up....

Brit indicted in botched attempt to shoot Trump in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS — A British man who authorities say tried to grab a police officer’s gun to shoot presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump at a Las Vegas campaign rally was indicted Wednesday on federal criminal charges that, together, could get him up to 30 years in prison.

A grand jury on Wednesday charged Michael Steven Sandford, 20, with disrupting an official function and two firearm possession counts, U.S. Attorney Daniel Bogden said.

That's what these polls don't ask. "Are you going to vote?".

We saw throughout the primaries that Trump has some insane ability to make people (particularly white, disenfranchised, middle class voters) turn out and vote.

Doesn't matter if he's 3-4% points behind if he gets 5% more supporters to vote than Romney and Hillary gets 5% less to vote than Obama.

Why he would do that is beyond me. I agree, he needs to pair up with someone who knows the Washington playbook and can give him some much needed support from a battleground State. I could handle Newt, he knows the system but he doesn't bring any votes on board with him.

I don't have issues with Newt at all....other than he looks like Benny Hill and every time I see him, I hear the theme to Benny Hill in my head. I would LOVE for Trump to pick Ben Carson, but I don't see that happening.

I have had quite a few people with why I support and will vote for Trump and I they actually listened and understood what I was saying without calling me or him a racist or a hate monger. The office of POTUS is an executive office, hence, the executive branch. Trump is an executive officer of a yuge business, he has many years of executive experience. I remind them that he is in a competition for the presidency. Yes, he has filed for bankruptcy 4 times, he reorganized, dusted himself off and rode again. When behind closed doors in a business meeting, he's a professional, he'll get **** done and to the point. I like his policies the best and that he is looking at the best interest of the country as a whole and not in the interest of what other people around the world will think of us. Hillary would tell people that Friday is Saturday as long as it will get her votes. Trump will say it as it is because it is what he believes is right. This has probably been posted before, and some of you have or have not seen this before, but this is a great video of him, also, there's a great video of him infront of Scotland's parliament.

Oh he has his warts, that's for sure. My problem with Newt is that while he knows his way around the political nuances of the job, he also has fodder for Hillary's minions. While Trump jabs at Bill, Hillary could jab at Newt.
