President Trump Delivers A Speech Ordinary Americans Have Waited 30 Years To Hear

Venezuelan Envoy Jorge Arreaza said “For a moment, we didn’t know if we were listening to President Reagan in 1982 or President Trump in 2017.”

Mr. Arreaza, of course, thought his statement was an insult to the current U.S. President, as did every fake reporter in the fake news media, many of whom were no doubt getting major cases of the vapors as they listened to the President’s speech.

CNN’s Jim Acosta publicly wet his diapers over the decision by President Trump to refer to North Korea’s dictator as “Rocket Man.” ABC’s Terry Moran said the President’s statement that the U.S. may “destroy” North Korea borders on a war crime, apparently unaware that his hero Barack Obama had made the very same threat towards the Norks while he was occupying the White House.

Can it be a coincidence that America’s community of fake journalists, its population of liberal/progressive/socialist/communist voters and politicians, the snakes and skunks who infest the Deep State in Washington, and leaders of despotic regimes around the globe all had exactly the same reaction to a speech in which the President of the United States emphasized he plans to put the interests of the American people above the interests of the globalist community? Well, no, it’s no coincidence at all, is it?

Meanwhile, the normal people of America have been waiting 30 years to hear an American President deliver exactly this speech, a speech before the international globalist community that firmly places their safety, their security, their families, and their prosperity as the President’s number one priority in his job.

The last time Americans heard such a speech from one of their Presidents, it was June 12, 1987. Ronald Reagan, speaking to an audience of international leaders from a podium placed in front of the Berlin Wall, said “General Secretary Gorbachev, if you seek peace, if you seek prosperity for the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, if you seek liberalization: Come here to this gate! Mr. Gorbachev, open this gate! Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!”

In the end, this key early passage set the tone for President Trump’s entire speech: “In America, the people govern, the people rule, and the people are sovereign. I was elected not to take power, but to give power to the American people where it belongs.”

Those are two sentences Ronald Reagan would have been happy to deliver as well, and those two sentences explain why this is a speech normal Americans loved, and the globalists detest. God Bless Donald Trump for having the courage necessary to be mistaken for Ronald Reagan. It’s been 30 long years since anyone had that to say about an American president.

That was the most cringe-worthy speech by a US president, maybe ever. Of course you loved it.

You're just used to your President being a total ***** and telling everyone what they want to hear. Barack had eight years to deal with Korea and Iran and the only thing that happened is Iran got PAID. Barack piddled in his Wonder Woman under-Roos and paid the bully off rather than putting Iran's back in the dirt. It's about time other nations understand that we're not all a bunch of liberal cowards.

Humiliated by terrible reviews of his UN speech, Trump blames Obama and the Clintons

https://shareblue.com/humiliated-by...n-speech-trump-blames-obama-and-the-clintons/

Donald Trump’s speech to the United Nations was, by any measure, a complete disaster.

World leaders, and Trump’s own chief of staff, looked on in stunned horror as Trump threatened nuclear war with North Korea, bragged about his electoral college results, and echoed propaganda from Vladimir Putin.

Trump’s address earned bad reviews at home, too. Journalists panned the speech as “menacing” and “needlessly offensive.” Hillary Clinton thundered that the speech was “dark and dangerous,” and former Obama press secretary Josh Earnest condemned the speech for having no “coherent strategy.”

But Trump is not able to accept criticism. Which is why he took to Twitter Wednesday morning to claim that it is actually the Clintons who are to blame for tensions in North Korea:

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">After allowing North Korea to research and build Nukes while Secretary of State (Bill C also), Crooked Hillary now criticizes.</p>— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) <a href="https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/910453612630900736">September 20, 2017</a></blockquote>
<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

In fact, while Bill Clinton’s efforts to thaw relations with North Korea did ultimately break down, North Korea’s first nuclear test occurred under George W. Bush.

And while the previous three presidents did threaten defensive action against North Korea, none of them ever baldly stated they would “totally destroy” the country. Trump has dangerously and needlessly escalated tensions to a new level.

Trump did not stop there. He went on to retweet a supporter accusing President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton of “in effect” giving nuclear weapons to North Korea through “appeasement,” despite the fact that, again, North Korea had nuclear weapons before either took office, and the Obama administration spent eight years choking North Korea with sanctions.

It is clear that Trump’s basic instincts to engage in reckless bellicosity, latch on to anything and anyone who praises him, and blame others for his ineptitude are never going to change. His behavior in the aftermath of his U.N. debacle is typical form.

It was good.

Netanyahu, Trump talks Middle East peace

Netanyahu praised President Trump and said the relationship between their two countries had improved dramatically under his administration.

“Under your leadership the alliance between America and Israel has never been stronger, never been deeper. I can say this in ways that people see and in ways that they don't see, so I want to thank you for that,” Netanyahu said. “And I want to say that under President Trump, America's position towards Israel at the U.N. has been unequivocal, it's been strong, it's got both clarity and conviction. And I want thank you on behalf of the people of Israel and Israel's many friends around the world.”

Netanyahu Responds to UN ‘Absurdities’ on Israel: ‘It’s Called the Bible. I Highly Recommend It’

Israeli leaders do not typically receive a warm reception at the annual U.N. General Assembly high-level session, but Netanyahu did generate some laughter when he suggested penguins are pro-Israel because they “have no difficulty recognizing that some things are black and white, are right and wrong.”

“Unfortunately, when it comes to U.N. decisions about Israel, that simple recognition is too often absent,” he continued.

“Syria has barrel-bombed, starved, gassed and murdered hundreds of thousands of its own citizens and wounded millions more, while Israel has provided life-saving medical care to thousands of Syrian victims of that very same carnage. Yet who does the World Health Organization criticize? Israel.”

He attributed positive changes to President Trump’s “unequivocal support for Israel” at the U.N., thanking him and U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley for “speaking the truth about Israel.”

Netanyahu later spoke glowingly about Trump’s speech to the General Assembly earlier in the day, referring especially to his strong condemnation of the Iranian regime.

“I’ve been ambassador to the U.N. and I’m a long-serving Israeli prime minister so I’ve listened to countless speeches in this hall,” he said. “But I can say this: None were bolder, none were more courageous and forthright than the one delivered by President Trump today.”

It's like his pro wrestling days. The man is a complete joke and a disgrace. There is a video where there are diplomats listening to the translation coming through and actually laughing.

Well I guess he needs stories to tell his cell mates in federal prison.

"Did I tell you guys about that time at the U.N.?"

MAD is not a new concept. In fact it kept the Cold War from going hot for 60 years. All the President did was break it down to the NORKS on how MAD works. In fact President Trump sent a simple message to the NORKS that we know they might damage a target in Alaska or on the west coast but if that happens we will obliterate their entire nation. Of course the President insulted a communist despot so our resident SN board leftists and the US left in general are angry that their fellow traveler might have gotten his feelings hurt.

still waiting on Tibs to give his OWN opinion - and not one intertwined with other ridiculous bullshit - on how this speech was awful.

he stood up for America
he called out regimes which sponsor terrorism
he applauded efforts to help people in need

yes, truly an awful goddamn speech.

No wonder the leftists heads are asplodin'

Trump Blasts Socialism at UN: ‘Failed Ideology’ that Causes ‘Poverty and Misery Everywhere’

President Donald Trump took aim at socialism and left-wing ideology during his speech at the United Nations – specifically in the context of Venezuela, a socialist state currently experiencing the worst humanitarian crisis in its history.

“The socialist Maduro regime has brought a once thriving nation to the brink of total collapse,” Trump said. “This dictatorship has inflicted terrible pain and suffering on the good people of that country. This corrupt regime destroyed a prosperous nation, by imposing a failed ideology that has produced poverty and misery everywhere it has been tried. ”

“The problem in Venezuela is not that socialism has been poorly implemented, but that socialism has been faithfully implemented,” Trump continued.

“From the Soviet Union to Cuba to Venezuela, wherever true socialism or Communism has been adopted it has delivered anguish and devastation and failure. Those who preach the tenants of these discredited ideologies only contribute to the continued suffering of the people living under these cruel systems.”
