The very last scene of Tucker's show was him eating pizza at his desk, delivered by the delivery man who helped cops capture a fleeing suspect the previous week. I'm thinking he planned that as his final exit. Pretty good ending.

maybe in the short term, but this is also accelerating the growth of alternatives like Rumble and Locals. Crowder went to Rubmle and so did Russel Brand. Bongino is there. If Tucker starts a rumble show, it could really kick the growth into overdrive.
Bongino's contract was up so he just left. I don't believe that was the case with Tucker. There's probably a settlement. I would guess Fox would want some sort of non compete to keep Tucker off air for some time. Would that extend to a podcast?
There's rumor Tucker's departure has zero to do with the Dominion issues. It was due to comments he made towards and about co-workers.
He was making $20M big ones a year on contract. My take? Like an NFL team clearing cap space, he got too expensive, and they needed a reason to re-tool. But...who knows.

Carlson had the #1 show. His contract is nothing compared to what he delivers.
I see 2 likely scenarios
1. Fox is scared of lawsuits. Those making threats said they'd call of the dogs if they cut ties with Tucker. The Fox settlement reminded me of the NFL deal with Crapernick. The NFL was fighting him until his lawyer's won discovery of league emails. Then the NFL caved quickly, not because they did anything wrong but because they didn't want their private emails and browser histories leaked out to the public and finding out which execs or owners were into tentacle porn.
I think that's why Fox caved. They can defend what was said on air. I mean it was guests making the claims. It was the peek behind the curtain they feared, just like the NFL.
2. Tucker was being muzzled and he had enough. He hyped up that new Jan 6 footage and they didn't actually show very much of it. I have a feeling much of it was quashed from above. He realized that he is big enough to go out on his own and that cable is a dying medium.

Now, I try to avoid conspiracy theories because most turn out to be 100% true, but does anybody else find it odd that Fox fires Tucker out of the blue almost immediately after we learn that Tony Blinken - part of the Biden campaign at the time - lobbied to get the phony "51 Intel Agents/Russian Disinformation" letter prepared right before Sloppy Joe's first Presidential debate with Trump??

Seriously, the Biden campaign actively lobbied for a demonstrably false claim by "Intel officials" to blunt the fact that Sloppy Joe is a dumb, corrupt grifter who made money through his drug-addled son ... and that story will just fade away. Nobody notices, nobody cares, nobody does anything.

Some of their outrageous lies - spun simply to wind up their listeners - include the following absurd ideas:
- A (D)imbo candidate paid for fictional "research," then after losing releases the bogus material to undercut the duly-elected President.
- The (D)imbo party then uses the phony "research" to get warrants to spy on the President and his staff.
- The duly-elected President goes on television and states a fact - he was spied on - and the sock-puppet stoolie conducting the interview dismisses that fact and pompously declares there's "no proof."
- The (D)imbo party then - get this - finds literally zero information ever, at all, in any form that shows the "research" was true but uses the investigation to develop "crimes."
- The (D)imbo party then has a grotesquely corrupt grifter as a figurehead candidate, then has a member of its campaign staff develop a bullshit claim backed up by 51 quislings from the "Intel community," completely lying about the evidence that the corrupt grifter knew was factual and accurate.
- Then - and I know, this is too ridiculous to believe - when the duly-elected President is in the interview with the sock-puppet stoolie and says the computer is real and the information shows how dirty the opposing candidate is, the sock-puppet stoolie once again announces, "There's no proof!" and cites the bullshit "Intel letter."
- The corrupt grifter goes on television during a debate and cites the bullshit "Intel letter" as evidence - get this - of his innocence, when he knows the computer showing his filthy corruption is accurate and the "Intel letter" is a piece of fiction his campaign made up.
- Okay, and then - I know, I know, you're not going to believe this, too outlandish - the (D)imbos attack police, reduce policing, promote and elect incompetent, dishonest prosecutors who let criminals go and attack political enemies.
- (D)imbos stop prosecuting shoplifters and assaults and muggings and beatings, and what a shock, crime explodes, featuring many in our "disadvantaged" (i.e., non-white) neighborhoods.
- After the (D)imbos unleash the crime wave and then announce that the biggest threat to America is ... white supremacy! Oh my God, that can't be serious, but that's what Tucker and Beck are likely to claim. Just absurd.
- Then - here's where they probably lose the audience, who says, "Oh come on, get real!" - the same prosecutors use taxpayer money to pay for private security because their safety matters.
- The (D)imbos and their (R) allies then foist a war on the United States at a cost of $130 billion and climbing.
- The (D)imbos and their (R) allies also force the economy to shut down for about two years and force Americans to take an untested vaccine and force Americans into unemployment if they don't follow the commands from the stupidest, most corrupt group of people ever assembled in one place.

Absolutely. He's something else. You should come back and enjoy the economic impacts he and his team have made over the past few years. The high cost of groceries has done wonders for my diet. All that fun we had our on the lake, overrated. Probably eventually would have drowned if it didn't get so expensive to have recreational activities. He's an honest to God lifesaver.Good to hear.
