From what I have been able to gather, there was a mix of just about every leftist group available but the co-ordination seems to have come from Soros's shock troops at Moveon.org. I noticed that a couple protesters that a reporter tried to ask why they were there, refused to comment. I contend that they refused to comment on the reason they were protesting Trump is because they were paid to do it..period.

That would seem to be the warning shot for Trump and there will be more where that come from if there are any more Democrats crossing over to the Trump train.

As MoveOn, we have to do two things at once. As a community, we’ve endorsed Bernie Sanders in the Democratic presidential primary, and we will work our hearts out to help Bernie win, running a strong and positive campaign with a focus on his bold progressive agenda. Weeks, if not months ago, Trump should have made it perfectly clear that no type of violence would be tolerated at his rallies. Freedom of speech allows for civilized protest in our country. Trump had his henchmen drag away silent protestors way before the more unruly types started showing up. He should have called for unity, that we're all Americans with sometimes different viewpoints. That's the fabric of the country. If protesters overstep their bounds, then event staff/security removes them from the venue. Like anywhere else in America. But no, Trump has been fanning the flames from the get go. Calling for an aggressive, violent approach. Denouncing and insulting mexicans, muslims, women, or anyone else that dared disagree with him. He's been spewing hate filled rhetoric from the beginning of the campaign. You could argue that's been at the heart of his candidacy.

So it's no surprise it's led to this time of blow-back, that people will begin to turn up to protest a facist hatemonger running for public office.

Well you're right about the pushback part. You're wrong about the folks who are doing the pushing back though. As supporters wait to get into a Trump rally in St. Louis today, police began putting a fence between protesters and Trump supporters. That prompted the crowd—which appears to be largely white males—to loudly chant “Build that wall!”

Look, I am all but certain what happened yesterday was the typical "staged conflict to demonize something" that the establishment uses all the time, but you have to admit that trump totally left the door open for that. His comments on protesters were a total faux paus and gave his opposition something to attack... One of my concerns about him is that his lack of tact might cause openings for conflicts this country doesn't need, and his overaggressive responses to that will not play as well as some think.

The actions last night showed a lot of things... that this country is chalk full of angry, agitated people who are going to lash out regardless... who knows, maybe Trump is a healthy outlet for them. But he cannot keep advocating protester violence or the establishment is going to force more riots....
