Wait a minute...Ken Dorsey fired???

Look man, they got their QB, their OC, their HC and their scheme. They are somehow winning. Barring the season ending 6-11, none of those things are going to change.
 
Offense was struggling under Dorsey. Buffalo not throwing a season away by keeping an OC that can’t get it done.

Joe Brady was co-OC at LSU title team with Joe Burrow. He was hired by Matt Rhule as OC for Carolina but he was probably too young and inexperienced. He’s gained some experience since then and now gets another shot to prove himself.

Brady was an assistant at Penn State prior to LSU. I thought he could be a candidate for Penn State OC but not now if he gets this shot with Buf.
 
Buffalo turns the ball over alot. Allen was leading the league in TDs and completion percentage and was pretty high on the list for yards. However he was also leading in ints. I know he has also fumbled a few. Buffalo has also scored 25 or less in 7/10 games. Allen either looks like a league MVP or a third stringer.
 
We have seen this playout many times before. Art the piece of :poop: will let Canada play out his contract and not renew it. He did that with Arians, LeBeau, Haley, Butler, and Fichtner. Next year the exact same system will be ran by a new coach under the direction of the head coach. In three years we will not resign him. Next year we will not renew Teryl Austins contract. It is a never changing mediocrity loop we are stuck in.

I don't see it; I think it's more like we will be disappointed by their "patience" (i.e. failure to get off their @sses and do something).

You are so on the $ with this post: nothing is gonna change, Rooney only feels comfortable allowing contracts to run out, no action until they do. And when they do, hire some lacky in-house who will keep kissing Shade @ss. End of story. Leads to inferior assistant coaches, little if anything that leads to improvement.

They will be playing sloth-ball until the whole thing is turned over to a new coaching staff. Promoting from within will NOT change a thing.

A new OC will have to be companies by an entire Coaching staff, including HC. You know as well as I know the odds of that happening soon is minuscule.

As I was watching the game last night, I noticed our offensive playbook looks a lot like Denver's offense. I thought the Bill's biggest problems were losing the ball and penalties and not their game plan. If any OC was to be fired today it would have been Denver's.

From what I've seen with the Bills the QB needs to stop throwing and fumbling the ball away to the other team.

I don't know that I blame the OC for that.

Art is a CPA not a football man. He can't fathom paying a coach to sit home. And Tomlin knows it so he knows if he remains a .500+ coach that Art will never fire him. He will continue to sign him to an extension with a year or two left. Tomlin is doing enough this year to get his 3 year extension this offseason which gets him signed through 2026.

Dorsey had the Bills OFFENSE ranked 2nd in yards & points in 2022
and 7th and 8th in those categories through 10 games in 2023

Josh Allen has regressed to the turnover machine he was in the early years of his career

Hell I would be happy if Pittsburgh signed Dorsey .... dude is a winner ........... look at what he did with the Hurricanes 38-2

He is like 42 years old ..... anything to bring in some new blood from outside would be welcome
