Really? What front end? The food stamps they can't collect, the unemployment they can't collect, the welfare they can't collect?
You couldn't be more wrong. They DO get food stamps. They get free lunches from the public schools. They are eligible for Federal Programs through the public schools, most notably the Migrant Education program. In that program, they get tutoring, school supplies, free lunches, and monetary assistance in paying for summer camps and day care. I know firsthand, as I worked for that department as a Migrant tutor in Alaska.
