Warren ypc leading the league

Regarding the Naj and Warren situation. Sure I’ve been critical of Naj a few times. Sometimes well deserved in my eyes.

He’s definitely coming into his own lately and deserves credit. I think the frustration was more....hey Warren is doing well..... give him more touches. Which finally the coaching seems to be doing. So credit to them as well even though I thought it took too long.

They are both needed on this team going into the dog days of winter. I could care less who has the better average or ypc, just that we have a successful running game.
I think that could be part of it also. I also think the frustration was in part "******* Canada keeps running me into a brick wall" and "We run the same damn plays with me in the game and the ******* line still can't block them." along with "Oh look, Warren actually gets some passes thrown his way. When I'm in, they never call passes to me. So everyone knows it's a ******* run."
I know that would piss me off.
Hopefully the new OC/Playcaller tandem continues to scheme better for Najee AND for Warren.

I hear you. Bad enough for the fans to be frustrated with the offense the last 4 years. Can you imagine the players. Answering the same questions over and over. They're human, they know the vibes of the fans. Getting pissed off because you have to listen to the coaches, even though you know it’s absolutely horse-****.
The big plus for Naj coming out of college was his pass catching ability. It’s just ridiculous they have not thrown to him more the way they used to with Leveon.
I know I’ve said this before. But somebody let this ****-show continue for 3 years.

Bingo!!!

Hey Warriors, not to barge in and change the subject while you are engaged with the ever so esteemed Mr Avoid Loyd.
You recommend some good reading to me some time ago but I haven’t seen you around as much here. I had saw a series I believe you would like called Reservation Dogs on Netflix. You’ve probably seen it but if not give it a chance.

Carry on🙂
I don't watch allot of series but happened to catch an episode of Reservation Dogs where Cheese goes on the ride-a-long with Officer Big. I'm far from educated tv critic but thought it was very well done, subtle humor and karma. Plan on watching it again.

I have to admit this trend ticks me off. What trend? Of Harris apologists constantly bringing up the "different environments" Harris runs compared to Warren. Earth to Najee apologists: Their running conditions are NOT so much different. They just aren't. The apologists act like theirs rushes are in night and day different situations; they ain't. Sure, Najee runs a few more rushes on 1st down, but Warren has plenty as well. Stop the denial for cripes sake. It's insane and not true.
Some people cannot admit when they are wrong, its ok
as they change the excuses and explanations they are proving themselves wrong by default.
When you go from
"Harris is a Bellcow with a bad line and coaches"
to,
"Harris had a foot injury and Matt canada thats why he's a 3.6ypc vs 4.9 for Warren, Najee is 100% the guy and Warrens efficiency will go down with more touches"
to
"They are different backs we need them both"
"The only reason Harris is career 3.9 and Warren is 5.4ypc for their Career is because the defense plays them differently" etc

Warrens touches went up, Najees touches went down and jaylen is leading the league in efficiency and has widened the efficiency gap between him and Harris from last season.

Harris has been playing the best football of his career, no denying that, the fact that Warren is still performing better by every advanced metric is even more impressive.

We finish the season against some weak run defenses and I fully expect both guys to carry this team.

Only not against the Bengals, where Harris was the better back for that game, and it wasn't even close. Advanced metrics don't tell everything. There's a reason they play the games still. There's still a reason Harris is getting the starter treatment.

Being that they ARE so different is what is helping this team. Teams have to plan for two different styles, maybe they stop one of them, but chances are they won't stop both

We can see how they compare at the end of the season?
Won't be close
