He is 3-5 but I had a flashback of some winnable games in the past. I’ll try to be more positive.
This is it right here. People talk about analytics. If every first down is hard. If you cannot produce three or so first downs on second and first.......the numbers will catch up.

Tomlin has been coaching the Steelers for 18 seasons now, and one can count the number of them in which the Steelers had consistently good OL play on one hand.
Poor blocking has become about as synonymous with Tomlin's team as non-losing seasons.
Jeeeeez Man. Even when we had good QB play we were losing the games when it mattered. With our high priced D giving up big points. Do I really have to say this? GB Super Bowl was in 2010! And you say we haven’t had good QB play in 5 years.
Well just who is responsible for playing Ben too long without a plan,signing Mitch,not playing Mason,drafting Kenny getting Russ and Justin just because they were cheap,( yes their story is not over yet,I won’t hold my breath) hiring a ******* pee wee OC and keeping him too long….just who is responsible and accountable for that? When we played turtle ball in our last playoff game. Jeeeeeez man. He’s had his kick of the can. I got nothing personally against Mike. But we need some fresh air man. 17 years. Instead he’s rewarded with a new contract. I cheer them on nonstop. But I’m not blind.Haters. Don’t even get me started on the what if and excuses that you throw out week after week. Haters.

I didn't even try to stay awake and DVR'd the game. How bad of a beatdown did we give the Cowboys?

We won the turnover battle pretty convincingly if that tells you anything.
I think some of us are focusing on 'a few bad plays' by Justin. Yes, he's not Ben. Fields has only thrown one interception - oh, that ball was tipped BTW so it wasn't a Neil O'Donnell INT - in 5 games. Let that sink in a bit...
Kenny, and I'm not going to look it up, probably threw 8 INTs by his 5th game.
I still strongly agree that we MUST bring in a true #2 WR because the entire world knows we want to run the ball so it's not very hard to bring 6 every time we run it. Injuries to Najee's backups hurts immensely. The OL wasn't terrible last night and I think McCormick is just what the doctor ordered at RG. Isaac, however, he got his lunch taken quite a few times. The fumble, by Justin, was like watching a Category 5 hurricane hit land because there was nothing Justin could do when Isaac got run over. Perhaps Isaac isn't 100%??? Injuries killed us.
On defense we're in big trouble if we cannot get an IMMEDIATE LOLB. Dallas took advantage of it and the defense got tired. Injuries killed us.
This team does have heart. They fought to the very end and nearly stopped Dallas from scoring. Injuries killed us.
So, as we Floridians prepare for Hurricane Milton to hit landfall some time on Wednesday, I hope and pray that the injuries sustained, to the team, are not that bad and that Omar is on the phone because...injuries killed us in last night's game.
I know you'd like to think that but the Cowboys offense is still top shelf. They have multiple options at WR and TE for Dak to shred teams.
Why do you think Dak had time to make that last throw to win the game??? What side of the field did their OC attack???

Watt said it again in the pre game interview. He wants to win championships. Thats twice he’s said it now. He’s too nice to say he wants to go to a serious contender, but he absolutely does and knows it’l never happen under Tomlick.

No playoff wins since the 2016 season. Only has playoff wins in 4 of his previous 17 seasons. No other coach survives that level of mediocrity. The thing that kills me the most is the refusal to adapt to the modern NFL. I still watch, but my enthusiasm for the Steelers is limited these days.

Was at the game. This one hurt bad. Can’t recall how many wide open receivers were waving their arms for the ball. Don’t know if Fields doesn’t see them or if he’s being intentionally held back. Cowboys fans are total dicks. That is all.

I am focused in on his completion percentage it wasn’t just a few bad plays . First there was open WRs he didn’t see and then the throws he did attempt was at 50 something completion percentage. My eval isn’t based on past QBs it is based on his week to week progression or the lack of. I didn’t even mention the Issac play as I don’t blame him for that. Either he or they don’t have total confidence in him.
A long season and with an urgency for this team to finish better there really isn’t a great margin for error. You have to have someone under center that teams feel is a threat so they don’t load the box.
For me his performance just wasn’t good enough and that is factoring in all the teams deficiencies.
I know fans want to think the D is all that but it just isn’t. It has moments of all that. It has moments of not good enough. You have to have balance in both sides of the ball. You have to be effective running it, passing it, and stopping the pass , and stopping the run.
So he is either a solution they can lean on or the problem.
Really isn’t leaning towards he is the solution.
As a team they have to identify problems and fix them by coaching them up or replacing them.
If his deficiencies are shining greater than his attributes and they aren’t winning at a level that shows them as a threat. It has to be solved sooner than later.
On a team they have less expectations sure he could have more time.
If Wilson shows in practice to finish off drives more consistently? You have to make the switch.
Pretty interesting article over on DK's site about ... tadum ... George Pickens' attitude. From the eyeblack that said "Open ******* always", to the lack of effort last night, the pouting when other receivers were targeted, to finally, the bush league facemask at the end of the game. It seems that the lockerroom is getting tired of his **** and his attitude was a major reason that his snaps were limited last night; hurting the team even further.
Maybe this team needs a WR1 and a WR2.

A Dallas team that hasn’t been able to run the ball to save their lives gashed us all night up the middle. That’s coaching
Our secondary full of 1st round talent looked lost all night and left guys 7 yards open too many times to count. Thats coaching
Two weeks in a row the first half offensive game plan was beyond a joke, just like last year-that’s Tomlin 100%. They only throw down the field when forced to in the 2nd half when behind.

This started when Bermuda flamed me for 7 hours straight when I dared to say Pickett wasn’t the answer. I made a post criticizing the coaching and his 1st move is to sling an insult, he instigates it, he tries to poke at people, and deserves everything he gets.
I’ve got the right to post here just as much as anyone else. The egos and gatekeeping of some of you old heads when someone dares to criticize a team mired in decades of mediocrity is out of control
