God damned Raiders double dipped at the bottom of the 6th and took BOTH of the guys I wanted as UDFA’s

You are right. If they brought in DK (and others), then continue with the inept offensive game plan from the last few years, it will end badly for the team and hopefully for the coaches as well if that is the case.

I think if we were offered a 2nd or better we would have made a deal.

But even then...with a "below average WR class", it might have been hard to make this deal and then rely on DK with WR2s of either Roman W or CAIII. Having those guys as our WR3/4 is much better IMO.

They’re simply following their board with their opinions of BPA, cuz you’re right it does look like a luxury pick. I’m with you…many higher positional needs. If they had a solid second rounder grade on him too I get it though cuz EDGE is a premium position.

I’ve seen many have him as a solid second rounder so maybe the Steelers were high on him too.

Maybe there’s thoughts of trading Highsmith if TJ is given massive deal or thoughts of not giving TJ said massive deal???
 
Xavier Restrepo is still available. If they don’t like any of the DBs I’d go with him.

Pickens wasn’t going anywhere with what was available in this class at WR and even if he was it would have taken multiple day 2 picks.
 
Crazy to take Ewers in the 7th?

Will want 4 QBs going into camp. And we're usually not great at bringing in UDFA QBs because other teams add guaranteed money to them.

7th rounders are usually kind of flyers anyway. Let Howard and Ewers compete for the "developmental QB" spot.

If Rodgers skips OTAs (like he did in NY), then they could both get work (unlike most QB4s we bring to camp).
